  • theres the smoke flavor missing when it's done in the oven, thats what makes grilling so good., sorry u need to re name this show !

  • you baked some ribs. dont taint the way cooking that is BBQ with calling this oven baked meat BBQ.

and the most ignorant thing I have heard is "it has BBQ sauce on it so its BBQ"

    WRONG!

  • I like cooking BBQ Ribs at home. And this looks so damn good! I'll have to give it a try next weekend.

  • (Scratches Head) How are baked ribs BBQ ribs?

  • Is that Switchfoot playing in the background?

  • Sound is fucked up.

  • wow your ribs look fucken gooood yummmmmy lol im trying this tonight thanks for the tips n recipe

  • WTF is this? I thought I just saw incest porn. Sorry you never bake ribs, it's kind of like making love to your sister. You just don't do it. At least cover it so it doesn't turn into rock.

  • HAHAHAH the beginning is so gay!!! "This was broadcast in front of a live studio audience" LMAO

  • this dudes funny as hell, he just mixes shit 2gether, i love this video....gangsta

  • Never put brown sugar in with the mix, always do the rub FIRST and THEN put brown sugar on TOP of the rub like a crust and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then bake it or BBQ it or Smoke it.

Best way to get more oils from the seasonings and peppers into the meat. the Brown sugar glazes over it and seeps into the meat with the rest of the oils.

  • good job

  • mmmmmm...glad I don't have to clean those pans! Try using foil...cut way down on the mess. Or use disposable alum pans. Well done! I will try that! Thanks.

  • good job .. its very easy steps but how come some times its tender sometimes its not?

  • I like that you had all your seasonings out and you used grocery store stuff that I can just go buy. Not everyone is rich damit!Thank you for your great smile and for giving me something new to try!

  • looks yummy!

  • its not BBQ from the oven. BBq is usin your grill like an oven, its called indirect heat. sorry just dont call this BBQ cause it simply is not.i show this clown how to que.this guy should learn how to make bbq sauce every thing store bought.lame poor excuse for bbq

  • How come nobody's eating them on camera.? Just a suggestion. Your rub and stuff look good but, you should never cook with the sauce on. It carmelizes the sauce and gives a burnt taste. Try putting the sauce on after it is done. You will get more of the sweet taste from the pork. and you wont need that much sauce and still get the flavor. I cook mine in a smoker

  • give me sommmmmmmmme plzzzz

  • ouch. don't get me wrong. if you have no other way to make ribs, the oven is ok, but you can only do that, if you know how to cook real ribs to begin with. you arent allowed to use an oven, unless you can smoke/grill real ribs.

  • Baked Ribs!!

  • making me hungry Ribbbbssssss!!! never tried making them in a oven though

  • ummm NO!

  • That looks pretty good.

I cook them indoors in the winter months

I wil try the honey glaze tongiht

    Thanks for posting.

  • tried it and it was delish!!! Thanks =0)

  • awesome dish.......got a full going right now and it turns out great for me everytime.

The only thing i had CHANGE was to put a fold on the tray because I don't want to scrub the oven afterwards.

  • If its from NY it ain't BBQ,but however since I too live in an

apt. and don't have a BIG BBQ pit, I sure will try it. thanx for the info.

  • those poor, poor ribs.

BBQ means meat smoked at low temperature for a long period of time!

Try real BBQ-ribs and you will instantly delete this video :D

    Nice effort though

  • STFU all you southern hicks, I've had pork ribs baked in the oven numerous occasions and they're just as good as on the BBQ...

  • af100984 is right about the temperature. As for rub vs rub and sauce that's personal preference. I don't add the sauce until after they're done braising. I wrap the ribs in foil.

THIS IS NOT BARBECUE! Barbecue requires smoke and generally a wood fire. also the audio is a little messed up where the scenes overlap.

and I'm sure you mean't black pepper and not black powder.

  • not to bash ur cooking...i like your prep for it, but you cant cook good ribs inside a house...

  • you CANNOT COOK ribs in an oven...that is sac-religious...please tell me you are not from the south and i will forgive you...if you are from anywhere remotely close to the south...this is a shame!...put in in the pit or on a smoker please!

  • making me hungry..

  • i now know how to cook chicken. that vid was interesting, nice switchfoot music btw.

  • cool

  • you're to generous...i used to do this too..rent a house and loser the get rid ofs

  • dude oven should be at 250 degrees for 2 and a half to 3 hours with a braising liquid and dry rub... you shouldn't even need sauce if you make a good dry rub.

  • Not bad Jeremy... :|

  • Reduce the cook time to 1hr. 10.min approx., and use less bbq sauce to get a very good rib.

  • NOT 350 for TWO HOURS!!!!! Thanks alot. What a waste of my time and money. How am I supposed to eat this black piece of charcoal??

  • You guys are funny with the comments. I had fun just reading them. Listen all jokes aside. Pork is a sweet tasting meat weather you grill or oven bake it. Jeremyscny79 is doing it his way,Some will love it while others will hate it.''But pork fat rules'' For some of the best pork ribs in the country check out''jack old south'' - ''3 men and a pig'' - and '' Big Bob Gibson''.

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm looks really good

  • 350 for 2:30 hours? Sure thats not 250? Email me 'cause I'm never coming back.

  • hi im deb from england and i think your recipe is fab! i cooked it and its the best i have ever had!

    thx bye xxxx

  • omfg your recipe is great!

i cooked it and it tastes and smells brill

  • This guys cooking skills are like my brain surgery skills...not a f-ing clue! He's broken about every rule of cooking there is. Perhaps if you drank enough and smoked enough weed prior to eating they would taste decent.

  • baked ribs.. wtf?! thats a crime!

  • good site for BBQ recepies thebestdishes dot com

  • Those are baked ribs, NOT bbq ribs. If you want to learn how to make bbq ribs, check out the bbq forum.

  • Shouldn't you add liquid smoke to oven baked ribs? I tried this recipe - blew the oven up - must have added too much black powder (gun powder)

  • lol - yeah...i noticed that I said black powder...but it was too late...haha =)

  • lol , ive been wanting ribs for hella long , and ima get sum on monday lol ! nice vid u kno your shit

  • @240crown hahahahahahahahahahaah made my day lmao

  • You can't make BBQ in an oven. What's with the annoying music in the background?

  • thanks i think bbq is getting too mysterious. eveyone pretty much uses the same ingredients but act like they have the "secrect" formula. what a load. thanks for inviting us into your home and showing us good food and simple recipes

  • quality man, looks fuckin good

  • LOL - ya'll crack me up. BBQ/Baked...whatever...They have BBQ sauce on them...meaning...they are BBQ Ribs...not just "ribs". Anyhow...thanks for watching. Check out the latest video "Cooking with the Boys" - located in my "fav". This was filmed with some friends of mine from church in an attempt to make it on the Rachael Ray show - she had a contest going on...come to find out we were too late in applying. Oh well. It was fun anyhow.

    Jer ~

  • Just to let you know...bbq sause does not constitute bbq ribs...bbq is a way of cooking, im sure your ribs were great...just a shame you couldnt sit in a lawn chair, put down some beers, play horse shoes while watching football...that is bbq

  • Haha! Don't worry! I love cooking outside and do more of that. YES you can cook ribs in the oven however YES they do taste better on the grill. I just decided to change things up a bit here. And NO I am not from the South! =) Yes I do live in the South now - however grew up in the great state of New York!

  • On the grill??!! Poor guy, still doesnt know how to make bbq ribs. We'll teach ya Yank!! Hint: SMOKER!

  • I'm always looking for different ways to make ribs. . Also, you dont need a dam smoker to make baby back ribs. Some people leave comments insisting that you MUST cook ribs in a smoker. I suppose they truly dont knoe how to cook on a grill. Dont run out and waist hundreds of dollars on a smoker. A good grill is just fine. Anyways, im hungry for ribs now.

  • "LOL - ya'll crack me up. BBQ/Baked...whatever...They have BBQ sauce on them...meaning...they are BBQ Ribs...not just "ribs"."

Try putting some babypowder on the backside of the ribs....babybackribs are awesome...

  • i agree with a previous poster, these ain't bbq ribs, they are baked ribs. this guy cooks ribs the same way the french have defended their country.....poorly.

  • Nice but you should have cut the meat at the end to let us see how tender it is. A question: Do you think this would work with other meats? I don't eat pork.

  • how about cow ribs?

  • i made this following exact steps and was pretty good. But don't go overload with the BBQ then it kinda tastes like pure BBQ but good job!

  • How is it BBQ? If it's made in an oven

  • Thanks for posting the Ribs recipe, Jeremy!

  • I'm glad you like it! Thanks for adding me to the site! Hope you enjoy! More cooking shows to come...

  • cool they look good!

Heres a tip -remove the silver skin from back of the rib.
