  • u have no pickups in your guitar

  • @savageblue25 Damn right! Where's the sound coming from?

  • @savageblue25 i've heard of some guitars with the pickups on the bridge saddles, maybe this is one of those..

  • d*

  • great video and lesson. the only thing is you have the notes and strings backwards. the 1's and 2's should be on strings a d and g, not b g and e. great video none the less

  • very nice mate. will often visit ur channel

  • Learn to be patient I just got a guitar last weekend and I surprised myself being able to play this scale and the easier one he mentions the Em pentatonic pretty good almost got the G major scale down

  • i hatee this stupid lessons

  • @Luisshamansblues

Why? It's one of the most important scales you can learn.

  • o have a question, what is it for? im newbie and im playing from tabs, does it help with solos or something?

  • @hrabia99332

I'm no expert on musicology but as far as I know, it's basically a pre made rule of how to play for something, it's like a key for a specific feeling in a type of music.

What I know for sure is that it's used to play solos and to write music.

You can go outside the scales and you should every now and then when making a song but you have to be careful because it was carefully designed to have all the notes you should use.

  • my guitar teacher taught me this the first day of lessons and i can play it faster than shit in a day no lie

  • Duuuuuude! You've put the wrong notes names on the diagram. That'll be why classicjimonline got confused, as was I. Also, you should keep the diagrams as third person cos most diagrams for guitarists are written this way.

Anyways, cheers for vid, now I know a blues scale!

  • @classicjimonline Hey thanks for your message, good question... the diagrams are correct but they are set out how you look at the guitar while the camera angle is from 3rd person perspective (basically upside down). I plan to do my future chord lessons from a 1st person perspective camera angle so you dont have to go fliping it in your mind. (Much like my chord lessons) Catch you soon. A~

  • Moer , more and more!

  • Great lesson Andy. Now if you can also show how to combine the other scales together, that would be nice. Thanks and have a good Christmas.

  • very cool
