This is one of my favorite tracks (if not my favorite) in the whole CC soundtrack, and the Final Fantasy music world. Deep, sad/melancholic, tragic, inspiring, beautiful, a song that deserves to be the theme of Zack and Cloud's nights of seclusion, just the two of them alone on the run: nights in which only their friendship could shine between the darkness of a impending fate.

The music of Crisis core is truly something else... It has that ability to capture people to feel a certain way, like a most unexplainable array of emotions...

Agreed. It has this sorta power that really fits with the story and scenarios that happens as it moves, and drives us to feel very distant yet very familiar emotions that goes along with it. Maybe it's the charming use of both upbeat guitar and melodramatic violin pieces that creates a certain ambient depressing/tragic atmosphere and sense of beauty.. I don't really know. But one thing's for sure, this music's a magnus opus. =)
