As an European person i do realise only now , how fortunate we are to be free people coming from a free country .. this is something that you learn after living or visiting other countries which they are not totally free countries, places where they force you to follow their standards and ideals.

.. oh yes it is nice to say ' we are all in one earth as long as we both accept ich other ' .. tell me why then there are certain muslim countries which are forcing other people to follow their rules and religion in the country when living there like in the middle east. I do not think if you are Catholic or Jewish you can`t show your faith in the Middle east or doing anything against their muslim rules without to be arrested.

@nikrakrase It's cool, and that song fit perfectly. Though some of these designs were cancelled, you did an amazing job determining what to include in this. What nation are you from? Unless you don't need or want to answer, because it doesn't matter anyway because we are all one of earth, weather we live in the same county or on opposite ends of the earth. As long as we both accept each other and pose to harm to each others cultures we will have a thriving world community.

..anyway the most important thing for me is to know that it is a safe place , criminality is low there according with my husband collegues living there and i hope it will be like so, my husband is a business man for the middle east countries and this look like to be hopefully a good thing for a better life.

Dubai look nice, me and my husband will move house to Dubai in a few weeks, my husband got a promotion, new contract with his work here but i am a bit worry about : weather clime, so hot even in winter ,people told me that for 4 months during summer people can`t go out for the extreme hit , we`ll have a nice house with air condictioner at least , different culture religion ,weekend is not Sunday but Friday- Saturday, muslim laws, we respect the differences so i hope people will be kind with us.

wheres the best place to stay? considering taking the family there in feb next year, got 2 little ones, should we stay more in city centre of dubai or is it actually worth forking out a shed load of money and staying at more jumeirah beach sides? would anyone recommend booking wiv hotels directley than going through travel operators for a more competitive quote? help would be much appreciated, thanks!!!

The thing that baffles me is, the prices on the islands, the world, palms etc, or other parts of Dubai, who can actually afford these? i mean are there that many wealthy people in this world? i means its not just enough being "rich" you have to be "wealthy" - like have the heart to put 15-30 million dollars on an island? . Its too expensive .. this is really a place for billionaires ..but how many billionaires are there? not that many in this world.

and as far as I know, Dubai's economy is based on tourism, especially luxury tourism, that's why, with the recession and all, they had some problems last 2 years.
