I also front a rock band myself so I think I know a little about rock. With that said I think the Foo are awesome. They write completely original songs that are uncomplicated. Unlike more complex bands like Isis and Dream Theater, the great thing about the Foo is their simplistic originality.

I think the fact that this album got trashed upon release is a real demonstration of the swill that's considered good in the music scene at the moment.. One by One has some of their best work on it. Maybe not quite up there with some of the stuff on their first 3 albums. But still a shit kickingly awesome album, much darker in many ways.

I think the fact that this album got trashed upon release is a real demonstration of the swill that's considered good in the music scene at the moment.. One by One has some of their best work on it. Maybe not quite up there with some of the stuff on their first 3 albums. But still a shit kickingly awesome album, much darker in many ways.
