I feel that it sounds a bit too much like Sepultura/Soulfly, there is a point where you have to take a step back and think, wow, everything they do mirrors Sepultura and Soulfly. The Max Cavalera vocals, the ridiculous wah on the guitar in the solo. the roots bloody roots song construction.

I remember a festival in Szombathely,Hungary 1996, we were about 20 people make pogo in the front of the stage, they were unknown band. But they played better music, than now, Ithink.

yeah ok.. some bands like soulfly, chimaira or hatebreed might sound similar to ektomorf. but soulfly is a kind of modern thrash like ektomorf and the new "cores" (hatebreed,chimaira) have a similar sound to thrash on some riffs

btw.. such a pity i couldnt go there. i was in germany during 2006.

they have a nice sound, but i would like them more if they tried to be different from soulfly, i would choose Soulfly above this band, so their choice to play music similar to Soulfly's music is not a good choice.... (having a unique sound makes a bigger fanbase)

You're right, Ektomorf used the sound of Soulfly 3 Years before Soulfly. Max and Zoli understand each other quite well, they also appear toghether on live performances.

cavalera consparecy= both brother reunited

the brother's started sepultura but they made a fite wich made max leave and start soulfly.

sepultura has lost his power without max and after some long time the brothers fixed there fight and starded cavalera
