  • wow they are going a little crazy for just doing a Beatles song! i mean they are really rocking out on stage, it seems a little silly to do that to a Beatles song lol. But anyway, for me, they lost their sound as soon as they did ''Dead Man's Party''. For me, the Oingo Boingo 'sound' is the sound on the first three albums.

  • This rocks....thanks for sharing

  • A very good nod to the original, while retaining an Oingo Boingo sound.

Now this is what a good cover is supposed to be!

  • One of my all time favorite Beatles covers!

  • Radical

  • I am the elfman...

    I am the elfman...

    I am the walrus...

    Koo koo kachooo

  • Can you tell me when this show happened? thanx

  • June 11, 1994.

  • yet another example of why Oingo Boingo is a great band. Great cover of a great song.

and yes, AlchemicStrife, definitely "rocks socks."

but then again, most of their live performances did...

  • WOW!

  • wow this is the best version of this song

  • I'm 19 and proud to say I've been listening to Oingo Boingo since before I can remember! This version rocks socks!

  • ME TOO.

    but I'm eighteen.

    :B

  • Most bands wouldn't be packing the gear musically to dare a cover of this iconic classic, let alone knock it out of th park like Boingo did.

    Good on ya boys!!!!

  • A10thunderbolt:

Agreed. There are plenty of Beatles covers out there, but a band has to be damned good to get it RIGHT. Aerosmith's cover of "Come Together" rocks-and Steve Tyler will dare anything.

  • 1:15 he messed up! "Boy you've been a naughty girl you let your knickers down" is what it should be... he said "let your face grow long" like the one for the boy... Why Danny! WHY?! (Still love him (; )

  • shit happens when yer performing live in front of a huge crowd-like mixing up lines...

happens to the best of us-John Lennon screwed up the words to HIS OWN SONG playing live in central park NY!

    BONES

  • My favorite Beatles' song, bar none. Danny and his band handled it competently and with much enthusiasm. I'll admit it's nice to hear a "modern" take in this great classic.

  • I'm enjoying it, but if I didn't already love Danny Elfam's music, I'd hate it.

  • Elfman, Elfman, Elfman.

  • That's a fine example from Steve Bartek of how to play guitar!

  • nice job with the video, keep up the great work

  • 1:44! And 3:13-3:30...

They all get really into this, don't they?
