  • Are y'all gonna make a soundtrack? I *LOVE* the intro music!

  • I have to agree with the party who were pissed about the cleric loosing his power. It's an interesting turn, but the DM obviously engineered the encounter to be overwhelming to begin with. DMs can do that, but the objective isn't to screw the party with stuff like that.

  • The discussion between Mark and the DM who's name i forget always confuses me. The current DM was a member of the last video's campaign and he gets killed. So ignoring that he should be dead, Mark wasn't there when they all got killed so what kind of total party wipeout could be worse than being murdered by your fictional character?

  • Strange responses for this video once more.

  • I would be so sad if my DM took away my main class feature seemingly at random :(. Probably the cleric's fault for not wearing heavy armor though lol

  • CANT. . . WATCH. . . IN. . . FULL. . . SCREEN!

  • "Take that, Jesus!" :p

  • Didn't they all die in the first movie?

  • @octopusapult yes, This is a diffrant group.

  • will there be a third part?

maybe ... revenge of the shadow?

"the shadow? THE shadow? the SHADOW" :D

  • This series is highly inaccurate. The Fighter is effective, the Monk actually hits things and the Bard keeps dying.

  • I wish I had people to play with.

  • @dfkop

Gary Gygax MADE the role-playing game. He and his creation (Dungeons and Dragons) are the progenitors of the genre. Now, go sit in the Pit of Shame, you wannabe gamer. :P

  • Hm, should point out that suppressing or removing a cleric's powers is possible, but, the cleric would have known that was possible.

  • ...Did anyone else catch the Music Man reference?

  • what did the barmaid..o yes godz yes

  • thats a crappy prison

  • It would be great if you could add some subtitles... >___< Please?

  • ...What's the difference between the Gamers and the Gamers 2?

  • @MagykalShadow Basicly a different story and that The Gamers used their own invented ruleset while Gamers 2 (and probably most subsequent sequels that might come) use D&D rules.

  • Thumbs if this is your 3rd or higher time watching this.

  • ...NETFLIX it please

  • Why is it that the first three videos are public but the rest are private? Because of that I can only watch the first three parts. Is it intentional or just an accident?

  • @CrazyPhsycoGod Read the discription of the 3th part.

  • AleBliska lol 3rd

  • lol, Nodwick

  • This $h!t is awesome and it just keeps getting better!

  • Oh god. My cat's named Gwen too, and is black.

and probably for the same fucking reason...

    *facedesk*

  • I made a campaign which is a combo of Dragon Age, Fire Emblem, Legend of Zelda, and Final Fantasy a couple of RPG favorites and a favorite adventure game. I dunno how long it will take but man it's awesome.

  • @IAmAwesomeRocker

That does sound like it could actually be pretty great to play :-) Word to the wise: Try not to mix everything up too much, because then it's incoherent and confusing. But I think, if you don't do that it's gonna be pretty cool^^

  • @IAmAwesomeRocker Sounds cool! I thought I was the only one that did stuff like that. I had an adventure that was a total mixture of Dragon age, Lord of the rings and The movie the 13th warrior with Antonio Banderas. Problem is my party are like these guys. Rule breaking half-minds that wont shut up when they die. Ungrateful munchkins really pisses me off. XD

  • Me and my group of gamers just finished a huge campeign that I wrote. We've been playing it for 2 years and had to rush the ending because our elf brought his really lame girlfriend who wanted to go home after we've been playing for only five hours (it was a saturday, so it was cool). He gave me attitude at the end, because he almost died (also because of an unexpected surprise). I see myself so much in Nathan Rice's character in this movie.... *sigh*

  • There just arent words for the folks who hit the 'dislike' button for this

  • these guys should have directed the Dungeons and Dragons movie.

  • Gaming is so underappreciated. :P I actually like this one better than the first one! the camera and effects are better and its hilarious also way accurate in a way only a gamer can understand :D Also Brian Lewis is awesome

  • Gaming is so underappreciated. :P I actually like this one better than the first one! the camera and effects are better and its hilarious also way accurate in a way only a gamer can understand :D

  • Where is the "Love" button? So many of my friends agree. Best movie ever!

  • lÕl_Í_fëËl_sÒ_lÓnÊlÿ_töDÃÿ

  • Where is part 4???

  • It seems like the audio is /slightly/ de-synced. :S

  • I watched this again after playing Dragon Age and realised this has a lot in common: Snarky blond haired paladin? Check. Sexy, though decidedly evil female mage? Check. Feisty lady warrior who'd prefer to negotiate rather than fight? (In my playthrough at least) check. Although that said, at least in Dragon Age, the bard is useful for more than just a meatshield and is better to look at

  • @weldonwin *Adjusts glasses*....Oh my gehd it all makes sense now. And their original characters as well, the battleturtle just looks like Ogren to me now, oh! And the rogue has nearly the same accent as Zevran...

  • better in some parts than the first, worse than others

  • I was trying to buy the dvd but "This product does not exist at Anthem Pictures" :(

  • @hakonatli A new link will be avaible soon!

  • A pile of dead bards: Always useful and awesome.

God I laughed SO HARD at a lot of this movie!!

  • Why the hell did netflix take this movie off instant?

  • @Jonuda I know right?! my friends and I would get on xbox live and watch it as a group like once a week, we all freaked when they took it off.

  • the intro credits went long enough :S

  • @Smertn1k Oh shut up and stop trolling at least this one makes somewhat scene. The first one was cool but it had no plot and was confusing as hell.

  • @linkgonecoocoo Having a different opinion than you != trolling, my dear friend.

  • I'm sorry to post this here, guys, but it's pretty epic. It's new, but I think it's totally worth it. Here's the channel: PartnerAlliance

  • wtf did he say joanna at the end there thats my gfs name and she plays dnd and she often plays a very mele combat character even if shes not a mele character

  • yeah a pile of dead bards would be nice 2 have

  • So who was Chuck Berry?

  • We love to make jokes from these movies while playing D&D. The most recent session, the only female character in our group (there are two female players, but one plays a guy character), their character got drunk, so just for the hell of it I tried to seduce her (I play a warforged with 9 charisma).

    I succeeded. Epic win.

  • @Icarus19911991 Very nice. I play a thief and I try to steal everything. I'm exactly like Nimble..Can I take his pants?

  • @InuyashaLuver84 Have you ever succeeded though? :)

  • If you like Jen Page (sorceress) and Brian Lewis (Cass/Monk) then you should check out a new webseries called "Dirty Do Gooders" - they're both in it!

  • I love this movie. Every GM should have to watch this as a prerequisite to running games.

  • Didn't Kevin die after they killed the Shadow in the first one and Mark had his gaming block.

  • Is there a subed version?

  • Somebody help me plz!

Is there any english subscribe for this video?

  • Somebody help me plz!

Is there any english subscribe for this video?

  • I love the way that rogue's sneaking around with a lit torch :P

  • 26 people are angerd clerics

  • This...is...D&D!! This...is...FUCKING NICE VIDEOS EVER

  • The Shadow! The Shadow? The Shadow.

  • courage brings hope

    hope brings courage

    together, they change the world

R.I.P. gary gygax and Dave Arneson

Your hope to bring new life to gaming

your courage to try soemthing new

Has changed the way we think, forever.

  • There's never a pile of dead Bards when you really, really need one.

  • 785 people know the difference between epic and fail.

  • Hello all the game lovers out there I am a gamers too. Check out my vids and see if u like them and if u rly like them subscribe and there will be more. Thanx in advance.

  • dick

  • "LONG LIVE GYGAX"

I still wince when I think about the World of Warcraft players who asked, "Who was this Gary Gygax, and why was he important?"

Fantasy role-playing gamers asking who Gary Gygax was . . . That's like being a rock 'n roll fan and not knowing who Chuck Berry was. Sigh.

Long Live Gygax, indeed . . . He was The Man. The one who made it all possible.

  • @akshin1556 Who is chuck berry?

  • @akshin1556 Dude if people playing fantasy role-playing games don't know who Gygax is they need to be punched in the dick. Before I even played D&D I knew who Gygax was.

  • @RobynSatio I best fucking read up on my shit before I ever get involved in anything.

  • @akshin1556 One must not forget the great Arneson.

R.I.P. Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson (until we figure out true resurrection of course)

  • @akshin1556 i dont know who he is but then again i have never played wow would you care to enlighten me on who he is

  • @akshin1556 ALL HAIL LORD GYGAX!!!!!

  • @akshin1556 Who's Chuck Berry?

  • @shagoosty Wasn't he the guy who invented a flavour of jelly beans?

  • @weldonwin Oh yea, thanks.

  • @akshin1556

Do you know who Richard Garriet is?

  • @akshin1556 Long live Gygax. Yes, many players don't know him and his great works. The Blizzard guys mourned over his death in one of the patches. Many elder game makers are the huge fans of Gary's DND

  • @akshin1556

Long live Gygax. Yes, many players don't know him and his great works. The Blizzard guys mourned over his death in one of the patches. Many elder game makers are the huge fans of Gary's DND

  • @akshin1556 Yeah, I'm gonna doom myself here, but.... Im a rock and roll and gamer and I don't have a clue who Gygax is, or Chuck berry for that matter xP. Explanation?

  • I just realized something, if the Gamers are selling this movie, won't that have legal issues with the company who sells the Dungeons & Dragons game? I mean, it's their product which is being distributed on this film.

Shouldn't the gamers have permission, or be giving some sort of cut to the company for selling their merchandise?

I'm only saying, as a precautionary action for the sellers of the film.

  • @Dictator300 They did have permission. The closing credits state that the Dungeons & Dragons, and Miniatures for same, were used with permission from Wizards of the Coast. The same for Munchkin, GURPs, Nodwick, and all of the other copyrighted property.

  • I could not game in a group like this.

  • @Valdrag Be proud.

Seriously, I think that really was the point. This is like Knights of the Dinner Table. It's not a story about a gaming group. It's a story about an exceptionally BAD gaming group. By the end of the film, they've learned a few things, but they still have a long way to go.

  • ha ha! @1:04

    who is he then!

I AM! and this is my trusty servant Patsy.

  • U JUST CAST A LEVEL 5 DEMON KILLING SPELL ON A LEVEL 1 NPC!!! LOFL

  • I thought Lodge's goatee was bad but Mark's takes the cake! Damn Its hideous! lol

  • I cant decide 1 of these D&D ideas. Please help.

    1) In a battle with a powerful wizard exeprimenting on time travel the party and wizard are accidentally teleported to the early cretatious period and and have to fight each other and dinosaurs

    2) The party stumbles upon a lost valley where since the dinosaur times magic has prevented extinction. Super intellagent raptor hominiods have colinized the land riding and hunting dinosaurs. Players must help/hurt the different rapor clans.

  • @GonnaBeALongLongTime Those ideas are both terrible. What's your obsession with dinosaurs?

  • @moralapostel I'm a paleontologist I live for dinosaurs have 3-5 of each behemoth mini and 13 drow riding raptor minis (mounted drow patrol).

  • @GonnaBeALongLongTime well i like number 2 idea.. it sound interesting

  • @GonnaBeALongLongTime I would definetly go for number two.

  • The first film already made me laugh but the second one is just awesome.

  • epic film

    i want samurai baseball

  • 2 worsds goblin cleric

  • C;mon everybody. D&D is D&D. I play both 2nd ed. and 4th each once per week. They all have ups and downs about it. I'll say that 2nd is more "realistic" and 4th edition never leaves you bored because of the wide varieties of feats and skills. So let's all use our roll our Charisma or roll a diplomacy check and get back to whats important, rolling dice and beating the shit out monsters that our dm rolls in some bullshit random encounter chart when all our characters have like 8 hp left...

  • As much as I appreciate the upload of a funny movie, the fact that part 4 and after is set to private is a downer.

For those of you who are too lazy to search for a way to watch this, you can do a google search... novamov does have it available for free viewing. Or you could break and spend the $20 for the dvd. ya'know. whichever. :P

  • @boribam It's also available on streaming Netflix. Of course, the best way to see more Gamers movies made is to buy the DVD…

  • im confused. what happened to the original gamers?

  • @captaintylersparrow They grew up =/

  • @captaintylersparrow yeah dude they grew up

  • @captaintylersparrow Did you not watch they're characters kill them???

  • @TheWindsorPally Which explains why the Archer, Rogue, and Mage are ALL there.

  • So well done.

Too much away from the gaming table in the beginning, but a great film anyway.

  • This is so realistic, it's freaking scary, up until a woman got involved who actually enjoyed playing. I've heard of it, but yet to see it.

  • @chrysophase2003 - women roleplay more than you'd think, I know of at least.... 2

  • Quite frankly, I could play GURPS, as long as I've got some good friends and am having fun roleplaying. Who cares what edition you play?

  • 3.5 it better then the 4.0 and 3.5 got mutilclass let your bulid class better i am just saying the 4.0 are for noob

  • id just like to say how amazing ad%D is

  • Pathfinder all the way for those who want a really good re-reading and expansion on the 3.5 rules.

  • JAILBREAK IPOD 3.1.3, ADD THIS TO YOUR URL: /watch?v=EZE3r47VZqA

  • I love ADnD most of all.

  • this is like i was in school playing dungeons and dragons i and my friends and teacher were playing and in beginning we were fighting some ras and then i kill the first one and i helped my friends after that then my friend found 2 barrels and he open one of it it was health poision and food then he opened the next one and it was poisened and one more rat and bla bla bla bla

  • i prefer 7th sea for role playing, the stats are easier to understand and there are no charachter "Classes" if you will. i am playing a charachter loosly based on 3 things, indiana jones, mac gyver, and yomiko readman from ROD, she has a maxed out researching skill (which i have rolled an 80 with) is a bibliomaniac, was kicked out of the explorer's socioty for blowing up a city block in castille (on accident), and has blessed beauty..... and no combat skills whatsoever (not even sprinting)

  • Hope there's a number 3

  • Whoah, he took that die right in the face and barely flinched, I wonder how many takes they did before they got it.

  • I really like 4th edition, but I'll like it even more once they start releasing more Game-World related stuff like they did with 3.5; things like CityScape and Stronghold Builder's Guide, or even going back to 1st Edition, World-Builder's Guide. I always bought those when they came out, and I'll definitely buy them in 4th if they come out too...

  • Pathfinder is a good alternative to D&D 4.0 as it's more or less 3.5 but cleaned up and with a new base of support.

  • Vanilla Ice plays D&D?

  • 4th is too simple and way to restrictive... I feel like i am playing wow more than D&D when i play it...which i dislike...3.5 maybe a little broken in some ways but i feel you have more options as both a player and DM, and i am not just talking about game rules but just the freedom that comes from the system as a whole. 4.0 feels like it was built to be a hack and slash.

  • lol those guys are good at keeping togheter and be party team, roleplay can they of course *cough*

  • Is their gamers 1 on dvd? That one is 1000 times better than this one. This one is too much more spoof for me, and it has alot of sexual related crap in there.

  • This should've been the DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS movie! It's so much funnier, action-packed, and just down right awesome!

  • 4th ed is rubbish ! I love palying bards and i find 3.5 lets me do anythin i want !

  • This is the 4th edition, isn´t it? i play the 4th edition and we are very happy with that. if it isn´t the 4th editon what is edition? i´m from spain.

  • @isildurfaraon The edition they are playing in this is 3.5 but 4th ed. rocks still, no matter what.

  • AD&D the best ever;)

  • I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A GAMERS 2!!!! This show is wicked awesome.

  • guys go check out my own first video called avalon games preview and go check out my website that is called avalon games and you could by the games you like and it is so awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've never been a Gamer, but I love this movie!

  • subs, please.

  • and the subs???

  • anyone in huntington, west virginia who wants to get together for a session?

  • I wonder how that guy who plays the barbarian from the first gamers finds out that the guys he played with all died in the last one?

    *shrugs*

  • Great work guys, really good stuff. You gotta check out this CHESTER FULLER guy, he is a gaming nut, HILARIOUS!

  • Boss flick. Make more :)

While im waiting i'll buy dorkness rising.

  • Be sure to buy the DVD so they will make a third one :)

  • subtitles? :/

  • If you want to run a good campaign, leave it open and built around a story that will keep player's attention.

  • just miss the subtitles

  • Why this one doesn't have subtitles?

    =/

  • DM and Story trumps core rules every.single.time.

  • Screw the story, it's all about waffles! :3

  • @arconnect0 Though even by lore and story, a cleric who has spells prepared are given them by their goddess, they do not have a constant connection for their spells which is why they cannot change up spells like a sorcerer whenever they want. So cutting a cleric off does not immedietly strip all the clerics prepared spells, but does not let the cleric do an hour prayer or 8 hour rest to prepare more.

    Sorry, RPer here :p

  • @WhiteTiger225

Ah, but thats a standard story that the books give you to make playing quicker games easier. The story in any given game is what the DM makes it, if he says getting cut off from your god cuts off your power, than I guess clerics aren't just given all their powers once per day, it is a constant thing.

    Sorry, DM here.

  • @arconnect0 Oh I know, but coming from someone who likes to write endlessly. Deus Ex Magika (As I have lovingly called it) really destroys a persons ability to enjoy a story as we are not retarded. While starwars may be high scifi, even then a Jedi doesn't randomly pullout a lightsaber WHIP, or have a human (Naked) suddenly immune to lightsabers because he believesi n the heart of the cards. It destroys the viewer's(Players) ability to connect with the scenario many times.

  • @arconnect0 And what it comes down to it, A great writer can write around any rules (Like why I abash oblivion for putting in story elements their game cannot handle instead of writing around the engine limitations as a "Believeable Excuse" as I like to call them)

Heck, even "Roll a knowledge check. Okay....Being so close to the mask's evil presence shields you and your party from the light of your goddess, a tool usually used by only the most powerful and wicked of beings"

  • @arconnect0 of course, but some gamers never get that. they forget rule number 0: DM/GM makes the rules.

  • @arconnect0 the books specifically state that they are guidelines

  • Random place to ask this I know, but do any experienced DMs have a tip for someone running their first campaign? I've gamed for a long time but this is my first time behind the mat, and I have 5 experienced gamers including someone who worked on the original movie of The Gamers. Needless to say I'm nervous for our first session.

  • @KyleBMasterThespian Keep your players in mind. Know what they like and try to create memorable action and roleplaying scenes. Don't plan with too much details, so you can improvise if they think of something you did not think about. Don't be stressed too : no one has huge expectations for someone's first game as a DM!

  • Comment removed

  • didn't some of them also play in the first movie?

  • only mark that shows up only a few times and if i recall the master this time was the elf last time

  • @Avatarbee Yes they did. The DM and the Cess

  • @Avatarbee sure, Mark's the survivor of The gamers (left for meeting his girlfriend).

Some also have been in there.

  • talk a lot, pick a little more. very funny.

  • It happens... DM try to make the history to have weight on the game, and then something that "wasnt pointed in the rules" comes out and all the players start to cry about. It is the charge of Dungeon Mastery. But if you do things right and try to be fair (Hard as Hell) you can become a good DM and keep your players enjoying the game.

  • i dont really find it all that difficult, as long as you go good players (even if they are rules lawyers, im one as well.)

what im saying is i only allow REAL role players into my group instead of people wanting to get as much treasure and EXP as possible.

so far, my players let the plot wagon run over them all the time.

  • @purplejim8 Because, you know, there is only one valid way to play D&D...

  • Heeey man. What's with all the negative vibes?

    Peace bros!

  • Where are the subtitles?

  • Thanks for sharing that with everyone...... now nob off

  • @motleyhar

    quit watching it then retard
