Um, but your term "white guilt" doesn't make any sense, as both Palestinians and Jews lived in the same area for thousands of years. The area of Palestine was almost 100% Arab before the Jews came there. Also, by the way those Arab civilians are mistreated by settlers (having rocks thrown at them). I'm wondering when people are going to realize this isn't the "extremist element of zionism", but rather this is what has become, and what has always been at least a large part of, mainstream zionism. These people are running the country now. The Israeli political culture forbids one to speak about giving the west bank to Palestinians, or ever sharing one centimeter of Jerusalem. We in the US have been naively deluded about what Israelis are willing to do.
