@bailey3316 Then you're doing it wrong. It's hard to show over text. You're probably either clenching your throat to hard, or pushing from your throat. When you cough feel where your throat tenses up. Only tense those muscles when you go to scream. But barely do it. Just so your tongue feels squeezed. Hope you understand :)

Since you talked about the tongue in this I have a question. What happens when that little flap of skin connecting your tongue to the bottom of your mouth (the tongue tie) is elongated? Will it have any effect on screaming or not? I do know it can be fixed surgically and that'll happen sometime down the road.

Coz different screamers from different bands seem to have their own sound, Like screamer A having a sustaining long screams or screamer B sounding like a rapper(yet he still screams)I had a more detailed question on this but I just can't express it too well.
