Challenger door wobble

The door on the new Challenger MT600C series tractors was tested by opening and closing it 100,000 times. It was designed with less door framing for better visibility. The door has a floating door latch and is flexible, so it latches easier. More rigid cab doors often trap air in the cab when the operator is trying to shut them. This trapped air, or pressure build up, makes them difficult to shut. The flexible door lets the air escape before the door completely shuts.
