@782princesscutie No one has ever died on WDW's Big Thunder Mountain. A few years ago there was an accident at Disneyland. The engine uncoupled from the train and the first car ran up under the engine, killing the occupant in the first seat.

My first trip to disney world my parents had to literally drag me on to the ride. I was thinking it was Splash Mountain which I thought just pushed you over a completely vertical cliff. Boy was I pleasently surprised!

@babygirl284187 DL's version is faster than this one since it's more crammed in. Also, they never put any new breaks. They only removed some of the wheels on the cars. Having too many wheels on each car is what caused the ride to derail. Both WDW and DL took out the wheels. Other than that, they haven't done anything else to the ride.
