The Blatz and Grimple were from frisco and they were good, I don't know if they're active now. Hammerlock is from frisco, I like them....

LA has a shit load of bands.

The best way to learn about bands is to just find punk kids and talk to them about shows, then go to them.

If your scene ends up sucking, start your own band! Have fun!
