On thing about the Great Lakes, they've been around a long time and shippijng dates back a few hundred years, so walking along a beach or wooded areas can bring up the past for sure. I will be buying a Detector again when i get back from the UK later this month. Happy Hunting..
I just ordered a minelab excalibur ii and would like to get an anderson detector shaft for it. I want to probably go with your new carbon fiber travel series but I don't know whether to get the long shaft like in the video or the shorter shaft... Any suggestions? I'm 16 years old and am 6 foot 2 if that helps. What do you recommend?
man i miss the fries and the comet. and of course the chicks .ill be up for the 4th this year with my xlt and see what we can find . May hit the "ballet" while Im at too!!!
btw guys this stuff is very old from Canada, did u guys not know that for quite a long time us Canadians only had 1 dollar bills, and suck money as in paper etc. and obviously a metal detector cannot pick up paper bills

What kind of metal detector are you using and how much did it cost?

We have a crystal beach in Texas too. You could try a sand scoop and a pinpointer to locate the targets faster.

Instead of digging in the ground by hand you could use the filter (such as a name to the pasta) ;)

Hey My Brother!
That is some great finds! I did not know that canada used coins until just now. Funny how people can be so far apart but just the same.
I just watched metal detecting with Joe G. You guys are almost as good as him!
