Get another woman to produce an heir

    Hang her for murder

  • @TheHawaiianDragon Yes the name of the Hastinapur king is Shantanu. The 8th son is Debvrata who later became Bheesma. Are u Balinese?

  • @asisrout1988 : thanks for the info; yes, in the Indonesian comic, I remember the name of the 8th son is Bhisma Dewabrata ( in Indonesian spelling ). By the way, I'm not Balinese ... I'm Chinese & Hawaiian.

  • @TheHawaiianDragon well thanks for the reply. Bali is the only Hindu majority island in South East Asia, right?I just want to ask whether the rest of the Muslim majority islands in Indonesia follow Mahabharat that keenly?

  • Namaste ... thanks for uploading.

I read the Indonesian version of this Mahabharat comics for the first time during the recovery time of my tonsillectomy operation ( I was 10 years old ). This series were also broadcasted in one Indonesian TV station about 16 years ago.

  • hi buddy

  • kpn neh ada lagi film mahabrata....

tolong d adain lagi film mahabrata...

  • (continue 3) Even the word: Religion does not really explain Hinduism, or the Vedas.becaus the Vedas are books of knowledge, not religion...hinduism is a form of worshipping, not a religion because its based on the knowledge of the Universe...you can not become a Hindu, you are born a Hindu...but if you are not , you can still be a worshipper of GOD in any way! whatever "religion" you are attached to. I am a born Hindu (Ksatrya) and my best friends are MUSLIMS!!!☺☺☺♥♥♥

  • (conitnue 2) The overall message in every religion is to spread love for gods creations and for the Devine power itself...to worship and teach knowledge..there will always be people who tend to use religion to gain overall power of men..we can only simply "unpower" them by doing what these scriptures say: LOVE AND EDUCATE YOUR FELLOW MAN!!Dont waiste your time on fighting the ignorant, but youse your time to help the willing. The Vedas are not 5000 years old, but more then 15.000 years old!!!

  • (-continue) Madame HP Blavatski already tried to open the eyes of the western world in the late 1800's and was banned from the Catholic church and labelled as a devil worshipper. Alexander the Great already took Vedic knowedge and passages from the Bhagavat Gita back to Europe in 500 BC. They have already found structures in the Arabian sea wich must be remains of Dwaraka, because the architecture is similar to the descriptions in the Bhagavat Gita....dear brothers and sisters.

  • Brothers and sisters..Everybody has the right to worship the devine powers in his or her own way....dont hate them for their ignorance, for they do not know what they are doing..If you know the Veda's, and the Bhagavat Gita and you read/ study all other world religions, you will find out that they have ALL originated from the Vedic scriptures.!!Yudism, Christianity, Bhudism (Guatama was a hindu from origin), and even Islam (the Sofi's dance resembles the release of kundalini).

  • please rajshri.com upload b.r.chopra's full kanoon movie.

    Staring...

  • Existe forma ou meio destes videos serem traduzidos ?

  • thats messed up im not muslim but i know some nice ones and all cultures are a bit closed in there own way and thats what makes them unique is that everyone has differences if people were all the same this world would be a very boreing place. true that it would probably be a more peaceful place which would be great but hopefully that will just happen one day im a buddhaist so im very optimistic about the world.

  • hey_Î_fÈël_s0_lØñÉlý_tØdÄY

  • Please switch off comments. No one can guage the eternity

  • Dear Moderator! Kindly switch off the comments on this video! its a very nice epic...which has been seen by all! we don't want the dirt of india going abroad! atleast let them learn what our traditions and religion is like. seeing the comments below for them even Duryodhan would be a good man!

  • This move in an Indian foreign movie...cool

  • Guys I've found one link of Mahabharat part 2 i mean the history after the war.

    bwtorrents(dot)com/threads/272686-Mahabharat-Katha-Part-2-(45-avi-files)-B(dot)R(dot)Chopra

  • My dears, muslims are demanded to go to hajj to kiss that black stone once in their lifetime. What is that black stone?A symbol of God knows what?

  • @vidhyarthi1

thats not true - kissing the black stone is not a "demand", its ok if you don't kiss, its not a must (and its definitely not a symbol of anything) and speaking of hajj, its only required if you can afford it

    i hope i cleared ur misconception :)

  • it is true tht ramayan was simple and ethical and mahabharat is ethical, political and complicated.... a person can be beleived to know the story of ramayan in general but hardly ull find someone saying tht he knows complete mahabharat.... and br chopra has shaped this epic beautifully..... it depicts to sme extent the present era..... true politics and pure too....!!!

  • it is true tht ramayan was simple and ethical and mahabharat is ethicsl, political and complicated.... a person can be beleived to know the story of ramayan in general but hardly ull find someone saying tht he knows complete mahabharat.... and br chopra has shaped this epic beautifully..... it depicts to sme extent the present era..... true politics and pure too....!!!

  • @ Marasinder

    Completely agreed with you mate!

The best serial I have ever watched. It's just wonderfull and I don't have an idea how many times I have watched this. Everything in this serial is just exxelent. Nitish, Mukesh, Arjun, Puneet, Girija, Rajdan were just superb! It's always a treat to listen Mahatma Vidur and Shri Krishna! O..oo..I forgot to mention Pankaj Dhir..

; the most misfortunate guy in this epic along with Pitamah Bhisma.

  • If the Nazi's conquered india this is probably what it would look like.

  • Thank you.

  • great man

  • Does anyone wonder.....Surely I cannot be the only one.

How did they get this series to be so good ?

I mean everything is EPIC....Its emotions, music, cinematography.....How did they do such a fine job ? The characters are so good, so well potrayed....It is astounding to imagine how they did this.

Compare it to the crap series made by Ekta Kapoor and other directors(there was one more as I recall)

Does anyone think about it as much as I do ?

This is the best serial in the history of television

  • @rishi851 quality over quantity. people in that time cared about quality unlike today. today people make 10 crappy series instead of one good one

  • We dont have a religion, because religion is based on belief, but the truth remains forever and it doesnt rely on anybodies belief, weather or not any body supports it, truth will remain the same, and we believe in truth and truth is forever that is the reason our Truth is Sanatan - SANATAN DHARMA .

  • @ramases2008 what is the meaning of this comment?Pleas clarify.Thank you.

  • how r there dislikes on this video?

  • @mpatel14 bcs they want to click on like and by mistake they click on dislike

  • If moslems don't believe in idol worship then why do they build relics on the graves of saints and then touch it and pray .They have 1,25,000 prophets .Come on dudes human race evolved 1,50,000 years ago .So going by this ratio some prophets might have also seen the nehenderthal , lemur , homo ERECTUS and the caveman age when males used to fight for women .

  • Dont waste your sanity, energy and time arguing with Muslims. They have dedicated their lives to destroying other people's cultures disregarding all rules and morality. You will never be able to rationalise with them. The more closed and dogmatic a religion becomes, the easier it is to find fault and loopholes. Roman Catholicism also condemns idol worship but look at the number of statues and pictures in their churches. Humans need symbols and statues, all ancient religions relied on them.

  • Comment removed

  • @johnnybrown1884 look up iconoclasm

  • @johnnybrown1884 and no, we don't

  • @johnnybrown1884 u r just soooo ignorant why would i worship something that is made of wood or clay smthg that other humans hand made smthg that is dumb and deaf smthg that can't do anyfing for me cause it has no will since its lifeless made but other hands thats silly as hell but ignorants are worst than blind people becuz they have sight but can see nofing and have ears but hear nothing reasonnable but their stubborn ideas

  • Those are the facts. Humans have always used statues and symbols in their religion. Bowing towards Mecca or kissing pictures of saints is no different to idolatry. I respect your opinion but what is wrong is when people start to impose their views on other people. History has been a witness to the destruction of so many pagan religions of the world. Christians and Muslims despise Hindus so much because we have stubbornly thwarted their efforts.

  • @johnnybrown1884 i also find it odd how muslims claim they dont have idolatry in their religion but then pray to a meteorite

  • @johnnybrown1884 well ok but first of all if u know islam u ll also know that it is forbidden to worship saints or anything that is human or from God's creation. Those who worship such things are from sects like sufis etc and that's sooo not islam. I don't judge other if they don't judge me but as i saw ur comment i just had to replied not all muslims despise other cause in islam u have the obligation not to judge anybody cause that's the privilege of GOD and only him can cause He is the creator

  • @Allahuyalam its easy to say ,i dont judge anyone, only god can judge people, but then your holy books judge people all through them and you base your judgments off of them, for people of sain mind who dont believe an angel dictated a book to a 12th century warlord we know we are judged by men but we dont care

  • @Allahuyalam I know Islam forbids all of what you have said. However, regardless if the Sufi's are correct, they seem to be one of the most peaceful people who are more concerned about worshiping God rather than fighting people of other faiths. I know you are not one of the them, but I do agree that people should do what they want as long as it makes them happy and does not harm anyone. Remember the universal human law is to never cause harm to others.

  • @johnnybrown1884 u know what do watever works for u as long as u feel good with it have nice day

  • @johnnybrown1884 ok u r rite people shld do watever works for them as lng as they r not making otha people unhappy but remember im muslim and i am religeous not as religeous as some people but i'm neva judging other people or saying coments that can hurt their feelings i know tolrance is the key to peace but there are fundamentalists among muslims, cristians, hindous, sikhs and dat u cant deny people always act with so much zeal and the forget that others r also humans wif feelings and dats sad

  • @Allahuyalam It does not matter if you are religious as long as you are living a happy life. I agree with you that there are fundamentalists amongst every group, that is the natural way of life. It is important to distance yourself from such people regardless of religion, race or sect because in the end, they will bring you down, along with them and ruin your life. Believe me when I say that!

    Johnny

  • @johnnybrown1884 lool so is it out of personal experience when u say "believe me i no wat im talking bout"? i m sorry for u if it is but anyways i think its important for the world to know that in spite of all the differences( skin color, religion, politic party, social situation, north or south) we r all humans and hav humans rights like respect dignity, education freedom and thats wat we should see first when looking at someone and not see his color, religion, poverty: humans dats wat we r 1st

  • @Allahuyalam I am speaking from personal experience and I dont think that is something to laugh about. If you know what is good for you stay away from fanatics and fundamentalists.

  • @johnnybrown1884 no actually i dnt fink thats smthg funny i was just saying lol becuz i was guessing maybe i was wrong( u telling me to stay away from fundamentalist doesnt mean u have to experincethat to give advice) so dat was no way in order to make fun of u. I m sorry for u experiencin that and i also have my parents always teling me to stay away from them: livin is not about living to fight the others but to live a life that makes us happy and not to choose friends regarding the origins

  • @Allahuyalam You don't have to apologise my friend. Your parents are right though, it is a waste of time and you can spend that time doing better things like getting a good education and making a descent living. For me, I see it as a lesson!

    All the best!!

  • @johnnybrown1884 tnx and it was good talking wif u take care

  • @johnnybrown1884 what do u means by Muslims destroy other culture....?????

  • @ZidniIlman03 I dont have time to argue nor explain what I mean, I really do have better things to do. Try a google search, but to give you a kick start, the disappearance of zorastrianism in Iran is an example of muslims destroying other cultures. THe destruction of paganism in Arabia is another. You may think it is the right thing to do but the people on the receiving end see otherwise!!!

  • @johnnybrown1884 what do u means by Muslims destroy other culture?????

  • @johnnybrown1884 If Muslims want to believe in Allah then let them. The only reason Islam has recently become violent is because people won't just leave them alone.

Muslims are a peaceful and nice people as are all people if you treat them with love and respect.

    PEACE.

  • @johnnybrown1884

You have to understand that Christian and Muslim religions are businesses that started capitalism. Their main goal is to convert people and collect money from them to expand their business. More they convert, more they make money. Thus these two religions are fighting against each other and the rest of the people to increase their territory and make more money. They have all the necessarily ingredients of capitalism. Here you see a small group of people surviving on rest of us.

  • @johnnybrown1884 Well said!! These days it isn't save anymore to share thoughts like these with people. If you do, it's easier for them to call you a racist.. But well said!

  • @johnnybrown1884 I'm not muslim still I have to disagree with you, in fact I'm shocked by your ignorance of Islam. Stubborn fanaticism is a sign of insanity and perhaps present in some perverted forms of a religion, which we call sect or a cult. Islam is a compassionate and peaceful religion. I'm sure you've never read a single word of the Koran. Have you ever travelled in a muslim country? I did and was always treated respectfully and generously by men and women. Your remark utterly fallacious.

  • @McDoulgham Let me ask you a very simple question. If Islam is peaceful and compassionate could I build a Hindu temple, full of statues, idols and various deities right in Mecca? India is the heart of Hinduism and yet we are compassionate enough to allow all religions to flourish there! There is nothing tolerant in the Islamic ideology, the people may be respectful but the credit goes to Humanity, not Islam!

  • @johnnybrown1884 You're mixing up Islam with the oppressive dictatorship of Saudi Arabia, which would not exist without the support of the US and Israel. And, why in Mecca? Or do you think you can build a mosque or a synagogue in the Vatican? Or how about building a mosque or a Catholic church in Tel Aviv? Would be quite impossible. We're talking about provocation. Your neighbour might be a friendly guy but he would not let you put your family pictures in his living room. Is that intolerance?

  • @McDoulgham I would like to think it should be possible to build such a place of worship given that we have a huge Aurangzeb mosque in Varanasi which is a holy site of Hinduism. However, to us Hindus, the whole land of India, or popularly known as Bharat, is sacred to Hindus and we still allow all faiths to flourish there. For arguments sake, forget about Mecca, what about Saudi Arabia itself? Apart from Turkey, it seems like most Islamic countries are dictatorial, correct me if I am wrong!

  • @johnnybrown1884 As I've told you Saudi Arabia is a dictatorship and has very little to do with Islam itself. It is only a puppet state of the US and Israel - both non Islamic countries. There are quite a few clashes between Hindus and other religions in India as well, I'm sure you're aware of that. But again, is that a prove of any fault in the teachings of Hinduism? Or perhaps a politically controlled conspiracy?

  • @McDoulgham Yes there are quite a few clashes between Hinduism and other religions and I would be wrong to deny that fact. However speaking from facts, and what I see, non-Hindus are generally well off in India than a Hindu would be in an Islamic country. India has already had a Muslim president, a female prime minister and president, a Sikh prime minister and an Italian-Indian as the head of a Major political party. Despite the clashes, religious minorities in India have better mobility!

  • @johnnybrown1884 I don't want criticise India, they have they own way and problems. Let's not talk about the cast system, which is alive and kicking. Yes you had a female prime minister chosen from the ruling class of India. Anyway, I fail to see the danger of Islam, especially after what I see in the world is millions of Muslims massacred for decades by non-muslims, this is a fact. Just think of the million Iraqis died in the last 2 decades, and that is Iraq only!

  • @McDoulgham Oh please can you stop with that tired old stereotype of the caste system nonsense. Those issues happen in the remote villages of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. I am from Karnataka and we do not have those ridiculous caste issues that you see in the North. Furthermore, I could talk about the racial problems in the US or UK which is alive and kicking. Particularly in the southern parts of the US. Call it race, caste or class they are still social issues that will not disappear.

  • @johnnybrown1884 Religious minorities are always persecuted. THe Hindus in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Kashmir are dying everyday, where is your bleeding heart for them? Thank to the media I am aware of what is happening in Iraq to the muslims and that is sad, but that does not deny the fact that minorities are persecuted everywhere. It is just that all the attention is focused on the Muslims whether they are oppressed or they oppress!

  • @johnnybrown1884 Well, I no what's going on in the US and I'm glad you mentioned it yourself. That is what I'm trying to tell you the whole time! I'm not afraid of Islam but seeing what the US has done to the world...I have a "bleeding heart" for everyone who's suffering and if the cast system is a ridiculous nonsense than so is everything what you have been told about Islam. Do not be fooled by criminal politicians, they are just as evil in the US or in India.

  • @McDoulgham In my view, I would better off in the United States to practice my own religion with complete freedom and respect from most people than I would be in any Muslim country. Look at how Hindus are treated in Pakistan, Bangladesh or Malaysia. Having said that, the only sane country with a Muslim majority would be Turkey, which is a secular republic, just like India is although I do not know if there are sizable Hindu populations there!

  • @johnnybrown1884 muslims are opressors. their religion says so.

  • @MrThesandisk Not only their religion but their actions as well. Do not forget we are in the Kali Yuga where avarice, sin and degeneracy run the show and what chance is there to live virtuously. Every time we make an attempt there seems to be a magnetic negative force that keeps us down! Lord Vishnu save us from this hell age!!

  • Q.Why is mahabharat referred to as a hindu religion .There is no reference of word hindus in the actual folklores and puranas .The persians and the arabs called the land across the river sindhu(indus) hind or hindostan and the people residing in that region as hindus .So, going by that even the mosalmaan of this region are hindus .

  • um....is there a subtitled version?

  • @mrlasinder1 did u ever find the subtitled version?

  • @mrlasinder1 Yes there is! In case you haven't found it simply search Mahabhata Episode # (English Subtitles)

  • @mrlasinder1 search Mahabharata Episode # (English Subtitles) , in case you haven't found it yet

  • @mrlasinder1

There is but the subtitles are taken from the DVD box set. Sadly the subtitles are terrible. They're incomplete and miss important lines. I'm working on providing improved subtitles.

  • I used to watch this on a local chicago station! Always wondered why Sri Krishna Dev wasn't blue...

  • @mrlasinder1 Sri Krishna was actually dark skinned. In Sanskrit Krishna meant black and if you remember, Draupadi was also called Krishnaa for her dark complexion. I am not too sure why all the portraits depict Sri Krishna as blue though.

  • Reminds me those yearz back in 90s, we never had a television i use to watch it to a neighbour's house haha! best moment i was young by then, sometymz they refuse we enter their house to watch it, but we never giv it up we just watched via the window hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... my favourite ever MUHABHARAT

  • \m/

  • This movie seems interesting. Too bad there isn't any subtitle. I think you all talking about your religious differences here sucks. It's like hello! can you just enjoy the movie?

  • No Matter what any hater says, He cant take away My Lord from Me .. he is everlasting in my mind, body and soul.. For him i would do anything. I am just his mere instrument. x Hare Krishna x

  • Greatest epic story in the history

  • @721787 ohh great rapper tell me how long is for ur god n people if u can write for other unknown people. for ur people u might have written whole book.hahahahaha post it too.lol

  • why despite an overwhelming invasion that led to significant destruction of our civilization and loss of lives. and a thousand years of brutal direct rule. why is India still 85% Hindu?

why did your Islam fail so terribly in spreading in India?

is YOUR religion a weak religion? is YOUR "God" non-existent?

  • musalmans are upset because they are demons. demons cant stand Divinity.

  • I wish..................:( there were English sub titles so I could understand it. But love the visuals it is all so beautiful.

  • @aquariancalendar I have seen mahabharat with very good english titles.

  • @dixitsandeep Thank you very much. I am up to episode 10 in the English subtitles version. Do you happen to know what the words in the song at the beginning of each episode translate as? Or the Sages mantra in episode 9? There are no subtitles for either of those.

  • @aquariancalendar hey which place you belong to ?

  • @aquariancalendar sorry for late reply. I do not visit youtube often.

Yes, I do know the meaning of title song at beginning of every episode. will post the translation soon.

  • @aquariancalendar by "the Sages mantra in episode 9" do you mean.. voice of narrator at the end of episode nine? please point to the exact time for it.

  • @dixitsandeep Well it has been so long since I posted this I forget...but I think it was the in the first third. of it.

  • @aquariancalendar Respecting your great interest in understanding mahabharat..

I devoted some time to translate the parts you have asked for.

While presenting my translation i hope that your efforts to undestrand this great story will turn out to be fruitfull in your life.

As the post is going to longer than allowed limit.. i will break the post into parts..

  • @dixitsandeep Thank you very much, I am looking forward to it. Let me know when it is up. In the past when I have found songs that I like that I get the translation of,.I take time to memorized the songs so that I can sing them... Knowing the meaning, makes it so much more powerful. I have memorized the Moola Mantra if you have heard of that one.

  • Its all bullshit............

  • @vip555tn my friend can u make it more clear "WHAT IS ALL BULLSHIT?"

  • @vip555tn Then why are you watching it? One day or another you will come back here and say its all true. Dont post negative comments on spiritual videos either you belive it or not. Dont

  • @intdx The story has a far more deeper meaning and not as superficial as yiu make it sound to be; obviously you haven't understood it.

  • Sunday 9.00 AM -- Everyone is indoor - Very few people on the road -- Those were the days :)

  • Mahabharat is available with ENGLISH SUBTITLES on the net. Just type Mahabharat with english subtitles.

  • I remember this, would love the special powers and the battles with the big golden pathila's. Does anyone know about a similar programme i think it was called 'Peer Puuthar' or something like that.

  • They look like Greeks or Italians.

  • @intdx u havn't read d mahabharata. or u dont belive in honour, spirituality. it is d ultimate spiritual truth. d kauravas invite d pandavas to a dice game which d pandavas lose. according to rules pandavas lose all their inheritance to kauravas. but cruel kauravas also abuse dhropadi. the pandavas and the elder ones are bent to d rules. the pandavas and dhropadi are sent to 13 years exile. when d time comes d pandavas r nt givn der righteous inheritance. so war takes place. dontbignorant.

  • @intdx "U FUCKIN CHOOT."... GOOD FOR NOTHING..!!, HOW DARE U PASS SUCH COMMENT WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING WHAT MAHABHARATA IS ALL ABOUT. "U FUCKIN BASTARD...!!" WHAT KINDA FUCKIN KNOWLEDGE OR SPIRITUALITY U HAVE OR LOOK FOR? REMEMBER THIS VERY WELL U "PIECE OF BLOODY FUCKIN SHIT" INCOMPLETE KNOWLEDGE IS VERY DANGEROUS..! FIRST HAVE THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND KNOWLEDGE ITSELF...THEN PASS COMMENTS...."BLOODY 21ST CENTURY BASTARD"..!!
