  • last f1 ferrari

  • @jagtbedarfhinrich couldn't be more agree

  • efe 1 era un buenisimo programa !!!

  • ahh the glory days of F1 when ferrari paid around $300 a gallon for fuel in their cars

  • cant get better than that

  • I want to return the music of the V10 and V12!!!

  • I have to watch this video at least twice a year to take me away from them shitty v8s.

  • God I want V12s and v10s back! To young to know the real sound, but now for my sacrilege.... I wish they would let rotary's in, come on V12 V10s vs Mazdas new 16x layout, it be awesome! Do what they did for the 787b and run a 4 rotor motor to make it a 32x and 750HP easy. F1 should be about pushing motors and the limits of the car. They need to stop trying to slow down the cars and let them build them up as much as possible. Testing needs to be back and so do the 3rd drivers, everything helps.

  • With such trend in 5-7 years time the F1 cars will run with 500cc two cylinder air cooled diesel engine. Supercharging would be forbidden of course...

  • 3:36

    oops

    ...

    I reached an orgasm

    new underwear required :S

  • I wonder how Jean would have done at Ferrari in 2000. He's a great driver but damn, does the Ferrari have a habit of breaking down when he's on the verge of a win. He was KILLING everyone in Monza in '95 and, yep, the car broke down. I have no doubt he would have won had it not. But I could say that about a lot of other races. Remember, he fought Senna at the US GP in 1990 with a real piece of shit: a Tyrrell with a puny V8! Even Ken couldn't believe it for those 20 awesome laps.

  • this formula today is trash! good times when the V12 was cutting off the straight

    BACK V12 and V10 !!!!! please

  • what a rare footage !

  • V6 1.6 turbo for 2014

    FUCKKKKK!!!!!!!!

  • @kit0629 really misery...With the V8 the 18 years old teens can drive very fast...With the V6 FIA can invite the 16 years old new talens....bliach...

  • 5 people drive a 4 cylinder turbo.

  • @TRRacingTeam You know they plan to do 4 cylinders turbo or v6 turbo for 2013 F1 ?! BULLSHIT !

  • @Philmen That's why I wrote it. ;-) It was a joke. And the planned 4 cylinder for F1 was a joke, too! But now they agreed on 6 cylinder turbos. Too small, I think. ;-)

  • F1 was cool then! Damn that V12 sounds insane.

  • 1:33 so many different engine notes, real F1

  • I MISS THE:

    TURBO ERA: 1977-1988

    "ENGINE WARS ERA" (V8,V10,V12) 1989-1997

    V10 ERA 1998-2005

  • i dont get why america watches nascar over this, 24 hr racing and wrc. time to move to germany lol

  • This is a great video.I love Ferrari.Their engines have sound like music... This is a better symphony on the world!!!

  • 1:10 Stereo ferrari O.O

  • amazing sounds

  • 5 deaf people disliked this.

  • @WeShallNeverStop

    BAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • a v12 f1 car... F.I.A. is killing F1 motorsport, in a few years f1 will be donkey races

  • now it's v6 ? :D

  • V6 V8 V10 V12... all in the same race. Pure... bliss. <3

  • @DasMidnightDrifter Not V6, only V8,V10,V12

  • that is what f1 sounds like mmmmmm pants party :)

  • GameHouse,

In 1996 Schumacher was reigning F1 champ and had the No. 1 on his car. He NEVER drove for Ferrari in the No. 27 car. He was either number 1, 3 or 5 for Ferrari.

  • @GameHouseGermany

This video is from 1995 Canadian GP. The car is the Ferrari 412T2, the last V12 Formula one car. The driver is Jean Alesi on his one and only victory in F1.

  • @ngendro no , looh at the helmet, it's the one of Michael Schumacher

  • @GameHouseGermany......Shumacher join Ferrari in the 1996 season. Do a research people.

  • @GameHouseGermany As has been pointed out, Schumacher never drove a no. 27 car, Jean Alesi was the last Ferrari driver to do so. Schumi was with Benetton at the time. Schumacher was a god at Ferrari, but this is not a video of him. Relatively simple, no?

  • @GameHouseGermany

man, please don't comment if you don't know about F1. Listen to the sound of that V12 and you're realize that it's not Schmacher's Ferrari. When Schumacher arrives to Ferrari it was a V10 and it was on 1996, not on 1995... This GP was very famous due to the first and only victory of Jean Alesi.

    Seriously, make your research.

  • @ngendro......That is so right. This is not Michael Shumacher.

  • @GameHouseGermany

the only thing you think is:

schumacher is a german and he was very succesful with ferrari and the helme in the vid looks a little bit like that from schumacher, so it must be schumacher

    sad, very sad

and yes i hate the guy because of his cheating

  • @BveryMean.....The helmet looks like the one Shumacher uses in F1, but is not him. This is a race in 1995 Canada Grand Prix and by that time MS was not whit Ferrari. This driver is Jean Alesi, the only race he won in F1.

  • @BveryMean lol. do you hate Ayrton Senna as well? Because not only did he break the rules, he did it a lot more dangerously and could have seriously injured people.

  • @allezlesrougess

I don't hate Senna. In the time Senna was succesful I wasn't even born.

So I can't judge rather he cheated or not ;).

The only thing I think about Senna is that his death was tragic and he would have beaten Schumacher by far.

  • @GameHouseGermany sorry mate.. this i s`95 at Montreal.. a race I was personally at !!

  • @GameHouseGermany it says jean alesi on his helmet not schumacher

  • @GameHouseGermany Its Jean Alesi read hes helmed hahaha

  • @GameHouseGermany its Alesi's helmet and it also has his name on it

  • 412T2

    別名「天使の叫び」だそうです

    フェラーリ最後のV12エンジンこのエンジン音は最強です

  • @GameHouseGermany nein , this is Jean alesi man ..... not michael schumacher

  • No head restraints! =o

  • Whait wile in-line four's will come...that will s...k way more that the V8

  • i am getting a boner of this sound!

  • 2013--> 4 cylinder... such as my Renault Twingo... It's sad!!!

  • @Alexela56 no way, you have to be kidding us!

  • the sound at 0:40 makes my balls hot.

  • Cant wait for the four cylinder F1 engines in a couple of years. God. How crap will that be? we want V10's & V12's please.

  • What about the legendary Williams FW15 - the most advanced F1 car ever!

  • @jozwrx

Yes, you said it. The most advanced car and one of the best V10 sounding engine ever. Great car, one of my favourites. cheers

  • @ngendro Indeed. But I do love that contemporary V12 Ferrari regardless - the most soulfull, and beautiful looking. But, relatively speaking, that gorgeous V12 had become a bit of 'dinosaur' amongst it's new-kid-on-the-block screaming V10s. Ferrari had trouble in admitting to themselves that they would have to do away with the very essence of a Ferrari - THAT V12 - if they wanted to remain competitive. ;-)

  • @jozwrx Suure Got Eletric Suspension ;) and Nigel Mansell know they was working, other drivers was going slow because was scettic on those Eletronic Susp

  • BBS rims, Good Year tires, Marlboro , v12, damn i miss the 90's

  • @darealcase

me too! bring back the V12 and V10! am tired of the shity frozen V8 engines.... they sound awfull

  • @ngendro

Totally agree! The v8 engines sucks big time!

  • @ngendro Soon it will be v4s :O

  • @ngendro The new V8 sounds very good but if can in the same race after the 2011 F1 cars come at the same point and pass also the BMW Williams V10 and the Ferrari V12 ...all people will see how lower is the feeling and how powerless sounding all the new V8 ...

  • 0.06 "whiplash" lol

  • Bring back the V12s

  • I love the rear profile of these F1 cars. A low, wide wing, sitting between two fat slick tires. Just looks beautiful, in a way i can't describe.

  • @SuperKabana

It's just amazing. These cars were so beautiful.....I see today's F1 cars and they look like shit compared to the 1989-1997 era. And not even mention the engine sounds....today's V8 sound is awful. Now if you want to hear a decent formula car sound you have to watch Superleague Formula.....

What happened to the number one racing series!!? The maFIA it's destroying F1. It's really sad.

  • Now THIS is F1.

Utterly amazing sounds, and a beautifully styled car.

  • @reds005

I'm getting to the conclusion that in the 90's F1 got to the maximum level of excellence in racing competition (amazing shaped cars, amazing V12, V10, V8 engines, amazing sound, amazing speed, amazing competitiveness) and today is on its way down.

  • @ngendro

It since the accident of Senna, since this years, the F1 down (sorry english :s)

  • @Alexela5

yo soy de Argentina y hablo castellano asi que no hay problema!

  • @ngendro At the moment, I prefer watching 1960s' f1. Sounds better and they're swervy too!

  • Se quedo sin motor la Ferrari pobrecitos jum! jejeje

  • "Aerodynamics are for people who can’t build engines." – Enzo Ferrari

  • i love those wheels

  • and now they even want to put 4 cilinder turbo charged engine,s the f1 cara :( f1 isnt an eco-friendley sport. accept it and dont try to make it eco friendley by ruilening the sport. put those v12 engine,s back in

  • @pokerboy7s

    What?!!?

    Are they crazy?

  • @edystvumdb i think so :(

  • @pokerboy7s

the FIA is destroying F1..... it's so sad to know that in 2013 my actual car engine will be bigger and will have 2 more cylinders than F1 car engine.....

Like you said, motorsport is not and will never be an eco-friendly activity. That's just the speech to justify the real intentions......

  • @ngendro not only that the engine will be smaller it will reduce the exhaust note too which will make it so boring.

  • @mark6020cc

yes, of course. I do not like actual V8 sound.....Imagine with 4 cylinders.......sad

  • Hey it's like a mass choir @ 1:34 You got the V8 Tenner, V10 Altos, and the V12 Soprano, all singing their hearts out.

    "AHH!!!........"

    "AAAAHH!!!!!!"

    "aaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!"

Ah.....Such a lovely Trio, I can listen to this aaalllllllll day!

    Thanks for posting this awesomeness

  • @NSX86R

Heavenly choir. Unfortunately, I don't know when we will listen to this sounds on F1 again.....

  • The funeral of Formula 1 goes in the last round.

Wheel to wheel fights at the border of legality? Never seen since Schumacher und Hakkinen.

Slipstream battles for hours with the nose in the rear? The new aerodynamics makes it impossible.

Overtaking on the edge of all physical laws? Not with these "modern" ugly spacy cars.

And now? The last bastion, these engines with their great sound, will be castrated to small pitiful Smart engine.

    It's a big shame.

  • @DarkAngel7567

100% agree with you man. It's the sad reality. If this continues, we the fan will slowly run out of F1. In the meantime the heads of the FIA and FOM keep destroying the F1. Not only the cars, but the racing calendar too. When we will hear a 3.5 V12 again?

  • @ngendro You never will unfortunatly thanks to Furher Max & Heir Bernie... forget turbo'd inline 4s of 1.6L. I've come up with a better solution... 2L, 16,000rpm limit, allow teams to choose what confg they wish V6/V8/V10/V12. THAT would give us something interesting

  • @Suprahampton

That's exactly the same way I think! it's very simple! the engine develope now is freezed and this is definitely hurting the sport..... the designers need less limitations to work. where is the competition??

  • @ngendro Exactly, freeze engine development if necessary BUT unrestrict config, a 2L, 16,000rpm limited V8/ V10/ V12 would kick around 500+ bhp, still decent enough & return aerodynamics to the standard they were in the early 90's. I should be FIA President ffs! lol

  • they're so stable they seem unstable lol....when viewing the onboard camera, this is back when the cars tried to kill them lol

  • that sound makes me happy :D

  • 1:30 brings tears to me eyes

  • Sto suono mi mette i brividi ogni volta che lo sento...quando passava lei le altre sembravano il nulla in confronto.Sentire la differenza di suono tra il v10 e il v12 dopo l'1.34

  • The Ferrari V12 always sounded better than the Honda & Lambo V12's...

  • @1:34 you get to hear a Judd V-8 in the Benetton, a Renault V-10 in the Williams and the AMAZING V-12s of the Ferrari team.... THIS was F1 racing at it's pinnacle... different engines, no god-dammed traction control, $400 a gallon toxic waste oxygenated fuels....

  • @ProfessorIgor You could call it Heaven

  • @ProfessorIgor

    You said it, thumb up.

    Cannot quote enough!

  • That's the best Formula 1 cars ever. And, for the protocoll, the Ferrari F1 412 T2 V12 was the best sounding formula 1 engine ever build.

I wish Berni would bring back the good old times to us.

  • Unfortunately first Alesi win was last V12 engine win.

  • Bring back the V12.

  • OH WOW... THAT IS MUSIC TO MY EARS.

  • Ferrari= Forever the sound of passion

  • those cars are very wide!

  • best sound never heard!

  • The Scuderia Ferrari wants, for next years, an turbo v8 615hp. Sad thing.

  • The howl of a Ferrari V12. Its music. There isnt another sound on earth like it.

  • These were the best F1 cars ever. Active suspension, ABS brakes, traction control and all the driver aids available. These cars were ahead of their time.

  • @captainjosue not in 95, active suspentsion was banned in 93. gearboxes were semi automatic. no traction control, that was banned. no abs. where did you get all that? active suspension was aroung in early early 90s and then banned, semi automatics were around this period, but not fully automatic like in 2003, no traction control or launch control driver aids.

  • @kpcart Thanks for the correction kpcart. Regardless, this is my favorite F1 period and most advanced in terms of new driver aids. No doubt that even today they are innovating new ways to finding speed. F1

  • @captainjosue i agree it was a great period in f1. love watching the old footage on youtube

  • masterbation

  • those were the days when f1 was for real men!!

  • 0:30 haha just insane.....

  • V12, v10 that's a real F1 race car sound.....amazing!

  • @a5180433 Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @a5180433 V12 is 200% better sound

  • @a5180433

agreed... v10 sounds best.. v12 second... v8 dead last...

  • We need the 3.5L displacement back!

In the 3.5 era, there were V8s, V10s and V12s! Having the displacement fixed, each team could then make or buy the kind of engines they thought suited their car best, as there would be difference in the characteristics and behavior depending on number of cylinders!

Its not as simple as the more the better!

Without being an engine engineer, the V8s might have better low end torque than a V12, and take up less space for much better aerodynamics....

  • ...while the V12s would be an easier construction to stabilize, and could have more high-end top effect!?

The displacement of 3.5L worked for all three kinds! However they would have to fix the max. revs as low as 11-12.000 RPM to avoid the power going nuts and undrivable cars! In these green times, road car development goes towards making cars perform better at low RPM so in that way it could also make sense!

  • All this: they should decide for themselves, no limits etc. are nonsense! They cars will become impossible to drive, so after 3 laps 2/3 of the field have gone off track, and the spectators would have to be moved so far away from the track!

F1 is OK right know and we have been blessed with good seasons from 05-09 with 07 and 08 being some of the best ever, BUT theres always room for improvement! Most seasons in the good ol days" we would already know who was gonna be champion...not this year!

  • formula 1 should let manufacturers choose there engine size i would love to see a v12 ferrari go against a mclaren v8 or say a turbo v6 that would be amzing to hear the sound differences

  • Wait, wait jwdodfst said that there were V8 noises. A V8... in 1995??

  • @AndrewWasHere1994: Yes, this was one of the greatest era of F1 where you could see all the engine range with all diferent noises. That was real competition.

  • @AndrewWasHere1994 Yep... 6 teams used Ford V8's in the 1995 season

  • @AndrewWasHere1994 The Ford/Cosworth engines were V8's as were Judd/Harts the rest were V10's Ferrari V12

  • Imagine, if a modern day F1 car had a V12....

  • this would be a better world

  • imagine V12 turbo+2008's aerodynamic+slick tyres, thats real car porn

  • @ygyf To be honest, yes. But i think they would be a little TO fast.

  • @ygyf dont forget the ground plate ( 80's lotus invention ) banned after one season because

  • This car is for sale right now. $900,000.....not a bad deal.

  • the passion of V12 engine for better entertaining!

  • 0:30 - 0:45 golpe en el pecho

  • No. The V12's highest ever rating was probably in '94, under the old 3.5L formula. That season's Ferrari engine made around 850hp. The '95 3.0L V12 was subsequently neutered and made around 700hp. The 3.0L V10s made anywhere from 650hp in '95 to nearly 1000hp in 2004/05, before power was cut in '06 with the introduction of the 2.4L V8 formula.

  • F1 have v8 with 700 á 800 HP

  • This is a fuckin legend!!!!! O____O OMFG

    I want these V12 now.

    V8 are boring.

  • i heard the v12 sound in imola 1994 (very sad gp). that sound was completely different from all other. I very high deafening scream

  • i think 1990?s car were nicer than nowadays

  • To shadowexr2,

Sorry, but this is wrong ! The fastest F1 cars ever was those from 2004.

For example here some fastest lap on exactly same tracks :

    Melbourne 2004 : 1'24"125 / 2009 : 1'27"706

    Sepang 2004 : 1'34"223 / 2009 : 1'36"641

  • @Bennyboum Agreed, mmmm the mighty V10 era, how i miss you

  • los f1 de hoy en dia de verad q son una mierda deberian volver estos carros porque estos sin eran carros de carreras donde corria un piloto no una computadora

  • So sad that this was the last V12 in F1.

    Todays F1 are so boring.

Please Jean Todt, bring the V12s back in F1 !!

  • @Bennyboum V12's would be great, but still, the cars this year are faster then ever!

  • The FIA states the cars must start with a full fuel load and no refueling during the race so it's not logically possible today's are faster.

  • @Bennyboum they're gonna be 4 Cylinder engines with turbo in 2013

  • @Bennyboum

sorry but 1.5 liter 4 cylinder turbocharged are coming in 2013

  • @nabbestemmia

I know. Turbo engines is a good idea. But why the hell only 4 cylinder. They should be 6 cylinders, how the most turbo engines in the 80s. The sound would be much greater, and costs are the same. Strange decision.

  • @Bennyboum I agree

  • I have said it before and I'll say it again.. in my 40 years of motorsports life there has never been a finer sounding engine than the 412's in ANY form of motorsports.

  • oh my fucking god

this is the best video I've seen and heard for those ferrari v12s,

Thank you so so much for this, I am in awe

I love hearing this soo soooo much, I don't even have words to describe the beauty of it!!!

  • Lady In Red

  • best looking f1 car ever

  • Comment removed

  • Typical for the high revving V12: Very little torque so it's very easy to stall...

  • I love 1:34 when you hear a V8, V10, V12, and V12 in a row. The sound of the Ferraris are in a class of its own.

  • That was Formula 1. Today's f1 sucks

  • @jwdogfst fuck dude you are so right

  • @jwdogfst both Ferraris were v12

  • that sound makes u want to touch yourself

  • @moye41 LMAO!!!

  • i could listen to this all day theres nothing better than the sound of f1 v12's going past and off into the distance as the sound gets deeper as the gears shift....BRILLIANT!

  • I wish F1 returned to this era...i think it's going down the gutter with no light at the end.

  • me too

  • No traction control either.

  • The F1 series wasn't founded on running only V8's. Im sure all of us remember just how technically advanced it used to be with so many engine and chassis combinations.

  • I have no doubt that's why so many car manufacturers are dropping out of F1. No one will allow them to innovate.

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepic

  • 1:33 is the best. There's a V8 going past, then a Renault V10, then the two Ferrari V12s.
