Dam loved these commercials when I was a kid. Living 2500 miles from home I don't get the local characters like I did when I was a kid. There was Crazy Joe, The Squan Tavern Guy, The Jason's Furniture Guy and of course Crazy Eddie ogh and Topps. How can I forget Topps?

I worked at Adelphia Cable's Channel 8 in Toms River in the 90s. We did a commercial for him once, and I had him lying on a bed and had his "ghost" get up and walk away. Working with him was a major hoot, but he definitely knew what he wanted in his commercials!

I never had that much contact with Joel Klinger when I worked in cable TV advertising, nor did I shop in any of his stores. But his commercials were sure effective. Thank you Joe V.
