  • The British really shat on the Poles, not only did they do as little as humanly possible for the uprising in Warsaw but come wars end they gave Poland to the Russians who installed their own puppet government and replaced all the officers they had killed at Katyn with Polish speaking officers of the red army.Poland didn't see independence again for 45 years. Why when Britiain started WW2 in coming to the aid of Poland did they neglect Poland in the end and left them to be terrorised by Russia.

  • the end of these story is sad, after war Sosabowski live in poverty. British generals hate him for a criticism Montgomery decision.

  • Chopin military polonaise no 1 op 40

  • I am stunned how their own allies could have treated the Poles like this!! And I feel very sad that they could not help their own country and especially Warsaw!!...

  • who are you ?? r u german???

  • uveolo,

I am Austrian uveolo, why do you ask??

  • @SiggyStern Hey, you wouldn't know about stuff like that- propaganda (current mainstream media) does not include such information. For example nobody mentions large mass of cossac troops with their families, that were promised by allies a free passage to the west, but were ransacked and sent back to stalin for certain execution.

  • @GeorgeLooney

I agree with you,a lot is very much left out in the major history books, but when one looks closer one does find all those infos, but only if you are prepared to search.....I am aware of what happened to the Cossacs after the war..........
