Seasons 6-9 of Sesame Street were the best. Especially Season 6. This is from Season 6 and I have it on VHS. After this episode (734) it said that on episode 735 that The Count was crying because there was nothing to count. I imagine hearing the Count happy here and then sad in the next. Kind of funny.
Now, if only some Sesame fan were lucky enough to find a tape of the whole episode this song was written for: Big Bird was hosting a "Number Four Show" that day, but kept getting interrupted by other characters' misbehavior. (The worst? Big Bird called four kids up to the stage, then made the Count promise to count them only once. The Count made the show drag on forever by counting to four in various languages...)
That sctch happed in 1975 and 1975 has lots of Changes like Ford subing in Presidnet after Nixon quit office becaue of Watergate but he pardoned him, Vienam war ended, and Vienam Selective servies restry requrement abolish. But the US sufferd the 2nd worst resesons of the 20th centery
Yep, the soundtrack here is from "The Count Counts" LP record, narrated by The Count .... "vun little hole in the microphone, two little holes in the microphone..."

The Tarnish Brothers don't look anything like Don Music, Mr. Johnson or Little Chrissy, and Guy Smiley.
