  • I had 6 e-max porcelin vaneers done to my upper teeth at the front and had them done in India Goa and I love them there a perfect size not big n not small just perfect and I only paid £1,500 maybe less and I would advise anyone to go there and have them done... Please ask for more information on it...

  • She forgot to mention that that's the cost for 1 tooth.

  • she's pretty .

  • 1,300 for a row?

  • @KryptoWolf for each tooth

  • I lived in Cambodia for 12 years , two years ago i did 22 hours in the chair , that was 6 root canals , 3 crowns , 2 fillings, 6 x-rays ( $2 each ) polish and scaling all for $400 USD .

I have since been to 3 different dentists here in Australia since then and they all asked where i had my dental work done . Why ? because they were impressed with the quality.. All the dentists here are set up in large buildings , have at least 10 dentists or more and have the latest equipment.

  • go to Mexico if you want to use veneers,, $150dls to 250 dls, each teeth,, be smart!

  • @garzax25 do they make them good

  • i just want my two "fang" teeth done! they stick out abit and it causes mega insecurity, i dont want them to just be straight like my other teeth i want then have have similar shape, can you tell me the process of this? would i need braces first to straighten them or can i just have them taken out?

also the price?....could along the lines of £1000 quid do it since its only the two i want crowned?

Thank you so much for your time,

  • @ra9975 was the job at the highest standars?

  • Whats really funny is the Dental lab does the most work they only pay the labs like

between $ 90 to $150 dollars thats it !!!!! Even some dentist today send there work to be done in China be very careful !

  • Flight to Bangkok $900. Cheap hotel $15.00 per night. The Dentist on Bangkok are well trained and can fill a cavity for $70 per tooth. Empress Veneer is $210 per tooth instead of $1100 here in the U.S. I had a $15,000 dental make over in Bangkok, Thailand for $4,600 and that includes all of my travel expenses.

  • And as for your comment about Dentists being mall cops ... I have a friend who is in a School of Dental Medicine. The med students are taking the same classes and have more time off than he ever does. He is in school 11 months a year, and during the summer the med students had 3 months off. I havent seen the dude in a long time because he literally at school everyday taking it from 6am till 6pm, apparentely dissecting entire cadavers, taking microbioology, nueroscience, physiology, etc.

  • Dude you should actually know what you are talking about before you say something. Porcelain Veneers are created by special labs and machinery molding porcelain to the exact specifications of your teeth. The porcelain alone costs a lot of money. Then you take into the account that the Dr has to drill your teeth down with ridiculous precision, would you really trust anyone else who was not trained for 4 years taking a drill to your teeth? Its surgery in your mouth, of course it costs a lot.

  • I charge $600 per tooth for the highest quality porc veneers. Im as highly trained as they come and I can make a very comforable living charging fairly for my services.

  • Michelle has absolutely no clue what the actual fees are for porcelain veneers.

If you go to a large clinic like her employer that sees a high volume of patients, you may find a doctor or clinic willing to do the treatment for $900 per tooth as she claims.

If you seek out the best and most highly trained clinicians who do this procedure, their fees will average from $1500-$3500 per tooth. As in anything in life, you get what you pay for. Heath care is not the place to be looking for a bargain.

  • how much will it be if my two front teeth have a small gap bettween them??

  • Yeah, 900 to 1200 and the owner of the dental lab doesn't even make them, he has his unpaid interns or minimum wage pions make them. I WORKED in a dental lab. It takes a few hours to make a veneer, a little longer to make a crown. But the people MAKING them are not making the money. Its the owner of the lab that makes all the dough.

  • @coaly13 you're right. In holland, dentists have the highest paid profession when they just start out, they get paid more than surgeons.

  • Its expensive and a bit uncomfortable and stuff but so worth it and if you look you can find a little better price for the total half arch and be careful who you let do it because it needs to look good for the time and money it takes. :)

  • Well I live in the metro area of NYC and recently had an estimate done on my 4 upper teeth and the dentist stated it will be $600 per tooth coming to $2400 total since I wanted 4 done.

  • yes per tooth

  • To fully understand costs related to veneers one should understand that almost all porcelain veneers are made by technicians in a dental laboratory. Consequently the end result is highly dependent upon the quality of the dental lab that actually make the veneers. It can take a ceramist 8 hours to make 8 veneers ... some can do 10 or maybe 12 ... however the more they do quality can suffer. For a typical veneer a lab will charge $150-$250 to the dentist. --- continued

  • Dentist visits r expensive. But I f i ever get a chance I want 2 get some of these LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. lol. AND WHATEVER ELSE I MIGHT NEED. Enough already.

  • Thanks Michelle, I was wondering how much they cost for a long while thinking about getting some in the near future. Thanks alot for all the information.

  • Veneer cost is only somewhat important. The looks after it is done in your mouth is most important. Everyone sees the unnatural veneer. This veneer is usually the least expensive. The beautiful natural looking veneer is not seen and only admired as part of a nice smile. Paying more for the expertise and artistry of the cosmetic dentist is vital. Look for the work done by this dentist in his/her patients and then compare the fee for the veneer you want to put in your mouth.

  • Dental schools are great!!! I go to MUSC Charleston School of Dentistry.Their prices are wonderful and they also do great work.

  • yeah about the prices here in south america are less expensive .Also alot people come down from north america or europe to get their dental treatment done here..cheaper and same quality of materials

  • omg where do you live excatcly

i really want veneers but dont want to pay that much

and who wouldnt want to go to south america

    i love speaking spanish!

  • to jbfctlucky12: you may already know this but my suggestion would be.....before you go throught the time and cost of veneers try getting your teeth laser whitened first. They use a strong peroxide gel and a blue laser light on your teeth. Cost is anywhere from 500 to 1000 for the whole job....front teeth top and bottom. You may even have to have it done twice to get the best results and could save you about $10,000

  • oh wow thats a lott of money!

    Thanks=D

  • price is a tricky thing.....I go to one of the best dentists in the Boston area....I gladly pay him more than other dentists....believe me....there is nothing worse than botched dental work. If you are someone that just needs cleanings and a bonding every so often....fine....go to a discout dentist....but....if you are someone that has continuing constant dental problems...you need the best dentist you can afford

  • ropicotrina, what is the name of your clinic? i'd travel to peru!

  • wooa here in peru I am a dentist and I do cosmetic treatments ..porcelain venners would cost you 200 dolars ..wooa the prices here are quiet expensive

  • to ropicotrina: wow....thats a great price...in Boston, USA they are about $1000 each

  • $1000 per tooth?

  • to lubnaa: yes in the Boston (usa) area it can be a $1000 per tooth. What I do not understand is this....to prep a large side tooth for a root canal crown is a ton of work for a dentist and the cost to the patient is about $1000. There can't possibly be the same prep time and complications and materials on doing a thin veneer on a front tooth yet they charge the same price

  • @ropicotrina Well, then I wish I could afford to travel to Peru.

  • Is this per tooth

  • Modern Dentistry is a scam. Seriously it can cost up to $2500 per veneer (depending on tooth). Costs are not based on what is fair for the patient and what can yield the dentist a fair profit. A curve is established and the relationship between price and profit lines are researched. Price is usually at the highest point before further increases in price will result in decreased profits. Prices are set with idea of maximizing profits for the dentist - not what is fair for patient too.

  • Furthermore Dentistry is not truely market based. The dentist mainly rely on their local dental association to set prices - which are not based on supply and demand. Here in Canada there is a surplus of dentist and costs of materials have gone down given our rise in dollar. In response to the surplus of dentists lower cost of materials one would figure the prices charged would go down - nope, prices were raised. What is truely disgusting the real art work is done by the Dental tech. at the lab..

  • the lab charges probally about $200 - the lab tech him/ herself probally made about $15 - The dentist likely pofited $1000 on a $2500 veneer. If I'm a store owner and get together with other store owners and all agree to set prices - We could be in serious legal trouble as such behaviour violates competition laws. This type of immoral business behavior is commited all the time by dentists. Try going to another Dr. and ask him if he can beat the price of the other Dr by 10% - see what happens

  • My solution is to go oveseas for care. I did and received awesome care and will never go to a local dentist for any major treatment again. I will not say where I went as I don't want to be accused of working for some overseas dentist. Do your research on other peoples experiences and one should have no problems finding a good dentist overseas. Savings are typically in the 50% ranger or more. I saved thousands even after the cost of flight, hotel, and food were applied. Think about it

  • where at?

  • Costa rica... 300-350 a tooth.

  • mine have been on for 3 and a half years and im ready to get them off,Im 28

  • why are you taking them off??

  • why are you taking them off??

  • why do u want them off?

  • In mexico you only pay 5000 pesos.($500 american dollars) for four veeners! A friend of mine got the procedure and it was well done!

  • it is all depend, if u go to a prosthodontist wich is a specialist that go for extra 3 years of training will charge 2000 up to 3000 per tooth, it is worth it.

FYI general dentist , cosmetic dentist , aestehic dentist and laser dentist are a general dentist and can't name themselves a specialist. u have to know wher to go . the veneers specialist is caleed PROSTHODONTIST. hope that will clear some misunderstanding .

  • Per tooth! seems kind of expensive $900 to 1300 per tooth

  • so is this surgery worth it? yes definately! so start saving hopefully you will be able to afford this soon(or at least afford the downpayment). good health and confidence are surely worth it!

  • lets clear this up...this is a cosmetic surgery so insurance will not cover it(unless there was some sort of strange accident and maybe not then) also the Veneers cost generally between $900 and $1,300 per tooth. Depending on the doctor, the depth of work, and type of porcelin this surgery for all the teeth combined will cost you $16,000-$33,000. and as i said before thats for all teeth.

  • What if you dont have dental benefits? How much would it cost? Are those quotes for people with benefits? Thanks

  • I have seen an advertisement in my mail, here in 2009 for venners costing 699.00 dollars per tooth - fyi.

  • "veneers GENERALLY costs between $900 and $1,300"

But yes, some places do deals.
