Nutty from Wet N Wild in their single eyeshadows is supposed to be a dupe for Satin Taupe from MAC. I absolutely love it. Very pretty color.

Ulta has two great taupes: trendsetter is by far the best, then it's sandstone, and toast.

LOVE this! I was going to Chanel today anyway to pick up Epatant (illusion d'ombre) (which they were sold out of -____-) so I checked out fauve and ended up loving it, so I went ahead and picked it up, along with mirifique (illusion d'ombre) and I love it! If you ever get another taupe eyeshadow, you have to try the Wet n Wild single in Nutty! It's gorgeous and great quality. I've also heard Tapestry Taupe by Covergirl is a good one too.

Wowww amazing when i saw this video thats the first one i thought of in the color 35 Tough as Taupe!!! Hi Michele! Taupe is actually gray-brown. It can sometimes have a purple undertone to it. One that I think you would like that is a satin/matte finish is Elf Pebble. It's always been said to be the dupe for Nars Ashes to Ashes but that one is actually a shimmer and I prefer the Elf. The Elf is hands down one of my all time favs! You would absolutely love Bobbi Brown's Fawn (a more purple taupe) and Stone (more silver taupe). And her matte Grey is in my opinion more a taupe color then her Taupe.

talking about a matte taupe you should try the maybelline eye tattoo cream shadow in "tough as taupe" it's a taupe matte base and it doesn't crease, it stays, and it's easily blended! check out swatches online for it <3

My very first eyeshadow was given to me for Christmas by my mom when I was in 8th grade. It was a beautiful brown taupe from......are you ready for this....Merle Norman! :) She gave it to me with an iridescent white color that I could first apply so that the taupe was not too dark. It was really pretty and it brings back such good memories. I think it is one of the reasons that I love taupe shadows so much! Great video, Michele! xx Vanessa
