There isn't robotech in japan, it's Macross series, something you don't even know about because of Harmony Gold.

Which is why this game will never come to North America. Its all because of Harmony Gold. They bought the rights, and they suddenly abandon them. Plus they can't put it under the Robotech name, becuase most of the series in Macross is majorly contradictory to the Robotech story.

actually it could, ADV owns the rights to Macross while harmony gold owns robotech. if ADV would support a us version then it could happen, but ADV is known for not supporting video games since they can't make as much off it as the videos (because they have to pay the dev and publisher part of the profit)

Awesome game made by the developers of Gundam Battle Universe. It's not the same as Gundam Battle Universe!  They made changes to the gameplay to suit the Macross mechs. Homotech is just a ripoff of 3 different aime TV series including the original Macross SDF Macross. I buy every Macross DVDs from Japan via Internet because Harnomy Gold (the compagy that ripped Macross and two other anime shows in the process) is blocking every Macross products since 2000. I paid more than 200$ only in shipping for not crying out loud. And guess what ? The english subs are not even include in the DVDs thanks to Roboshit.
