Border collie pup play's!

I've got one since last week she's cute and smart.. She already give me a paw and can come and sit when I say it.. But sometimes she's hyperactive and starts biting a lot ! Is this normal when she's a puppy ?

@LottesWorld Yes this is very normal, and also be prepared for her to begain her heerding and sheparding at an early age as well, I have yet to break my Border Collie of it, and she is almost 8 years old, but she is my favorite puppy.. Like the previous person said correction now is key, what worked in my case was lightweight news paper and a slight tap on the nose area, and a firm "NO BITE".

This was a pretty good puppy video. The dog is obviously cute and the playing was good, but there were some framing decisions that could have been rethought. Also, the first thirty seconds of the video was superfluous. I am concerned about the dog's chew toy--many stuffed animals are filled with Chinese newspapers and ground mummies which can be toxic to people and dogs alike! B+

Border Collies, as do most breeds, are a little bit silly upto about 2 years old, from there they start to settle down a bit...

well there are very playful in the first yers but that doesnt mean u dont have to train them and let training for later (when they settle down) its ok to train puppies like 5,6 monhs old

I've been watching tons of puppies videos. Why do people have them in a cage?

to keep them out of trouble. if you keep items from puppy hood in the cage the dog begins to identify it as his/her personal space. They don't feel claustrophobic like we would.

usually people that have cages put the dogs in them at night or if they go somewhere so they dont rip or bite stuff if they keep them in the cage all the time they dont deserve a pet

when we aren't home she goes into here cage....its a safe feelig for here and she cant doe eanithing wrong then...so she can be a "bad" puppy during us being away.... Now...she is just in the cage for the night because our other dog have to.....and i traight all off my dogs the same.....1 in te cages at nigtht....all dogs in the cage....my dogs like ther cage....it is there space, ther the can rest,, eat there cookies, or hide away for our 2 little children....hihi lol!

aww so adoreable, I have been researching this breed, and am really considering getting one, my old boy that I have now,his mother was a Border Collie, and father a Australian shep, and such a smart dog (he is 16 yrs old) and I am really thinking that this is one of the cleverest of breeds, looking at these videos have really made me want to go and get one soon!!!

Your puppy is sweet. We just put our border collie down (4/18) at 14 1/2 years. I would like to mention (per the Vet) to possibly get rid of that rope bone as our dog had to have emergency surgery at 1 1/2 yrs. old because she ingested the rope and had an intestinal blockage. Don't want you to go thru the same thing. Enjoy your sweet puppy.

I remember when my dog was a pup (and even when he was older) he would always tear open any stuffed animal we allowed to be his (he was very good with my stuffed animals though). He would rip out all the fluff and play with that!

this is what our border collie does! he goes straight for the fluff and rips apart a stuffed animal before you can even blink. Then he carries around severed stuffed animal parts or fluff as toys. lol

Ya i was talking to my dad about getting 1 & he went to this site & they said they were bad dogs for anything but herding but what ive heard from commenting on youtube is they are really good running dogs which is what i want, something to get me motivated to run more often Plus we just got a doggy park with agility courses and well, my bulldogs not really for agility. X]
