What would Invicta main competitor at the moment? I was considering to buying a invicta dive watch similar to this, but I'm getting mixed review in terms of its quality. I do like however the fact that I can find one on amazon for less than 200, but then again I'm not sure if its real.
I also wondering if I would be able to change the band to leather
Amazon was having a 40% off sale on select watches, and while I was originally interested in the 8926? (black face version of the watch), I couldn't pass up the
72.00 price (after 40% discount), and the watch is VERY nice. Well worth the
72.00, and well worth up to probably
200+. The band is great, the watch is bold and it keeps great ...

How do they keep these things so inexpensive? I have been looking at an Omega Seamaster for 4,000 dollars, and I thought it was a bargain compared to a Rolex Submariner.

Nice review bro. Invicta has also come out with a Invicta 8926OBV2 with a Seiko NH25A in it now. It is the same movement in a Seiko 5 and Seiko Monster. Pretty cool.
@buddythedog12345 I wash my hands and take a shower everyday with my Invicta Pro Diver on for about a week now. It had seen very hot and cold water now. It seems to hold up pretty good. I am pleased with it so far.
@mrd7051 I have the 8930, which is the golden brother of this one, with a blue face and bezel, and the movement is a Miyota 8215, which doesn't have hacking mechanism, nor the capacity for be hand wound. Anyway, you wil never hear me complain. I'm IN LOVE with it... :0) Take care, God bless, and wonderful New Year to You...
Ok, so I was thinking of purchasing this watch. However, do all Pro Divers have a 21 jewel Automatic Miyota movement or just some? Because on amazon the scalloped edge Pro Diver not only has a higher list price (by $60) but under "Product Features" it says "21 jewel movement." Where as when you go to the coin edge Pro Diver it is more expensive but has a lower list price and only says "Quality Japanese Movement."
just watched a video on spotting a "real, fake rolex." the difficulty is so high, the video often states taking it to a jeweler, watchmaker. i say why bother. this looks like a much better option to the rolex!
For those interested the watch is still running fine and keeping good time.CE=coin edge bezel .OB=original bezel. They both mean the same thing:a Rolex style bezel. The regular 8926 has an Omega style bezel.
I am Canadian. This is a very high quality watch. I have the "Abyss" version with blue mop dial and gold accents. The bezel clicks exactly 120 clicks around from 12 to 12. and has no play at all. Very high quality. Miyota movements are good and reliable. Not fancy and non-hacking but still very good and lasting. There is no better value for anyone wanting to get back to an automatic movement. Quartz watches have no soul. Good purchase and review. I agree 100 percent.
@mrd7051 I will like to know how is the watch doing, a few bad comments make me think twice about it, I can`t afford a rolex and for my own experience replicas are a really bad idea. thanks for the video.
Sweet Rolex homage - I have something similar (Nautec NoLimit, basically a Rolex GMT Master II wannabe) and it looks pretty tight. How much does your watch weigh? Mine is 6.7 ounces.
All mechanical Invictas with a second hand sweep.Maybe not as smooth as a Rolex. My 8926 is still running great 1 year later.I timed it tonight with the new updated iPhone app called KELLO.Best reading was +2.8 seconds per day.I'll be making a video showing this.My 8926 video was made with an Aiptek A-HD+.
i have had mine for over for a year 1 1/2 and love it .also really good video what camra are you using ? i got my watch at jfk airport it cost me $300
Hello. I just purchased mine from Amazon and so far the watch is looking great except for a few things: 1) The bezel, unfortunately, is nearly impossible to rotate comfortably with two fingers. 2) Another nuisance is the crown, which I also have difficulty screwing it back down once popped out. 3) The case diameter looks a bit too small for me (40mm without crown), but I might have gotten too used to my other Invicta which is a 43mm.
Nice review. The 8926 is a great watch for the money, and the Miyota is a solid, well built movement capable of great accuracy. The only caveat is invicta sells watches with the movements straight from the factory unregulated, so whether it's accuracy is +/- 2 seconds per day or +/- 30 seconds per day is entirely the luck of the draw.
Invicta uses many movements from Japan and Switzerland. Some are quartz and some are self-winding automatic movements. Miyota or ETA. Miyota movements are very good for the price! Non hacking, so you can't "synchronize our watches". Oh well. Very reliable and accurate. Just a bit fast for me too. I don't consider my Invicta a "beater" It deserves better!
I've been wearing a similar Invicta for 120 days straight, and also own this exact model. My impressions:
The 21 Jewel Miyota movement is an absolute workhorse. No, its no Swiss ETA, but the basic design has been around for quite a long time, and its used in a variety of other watches, including costing FAR more than this one.
The band is solid and surprisingly good given the cost.
120 days, no scratches yet. 120 showers and two trips through the pool, no water issues.
Anyone can take a rip-off of a popular watch and throw a crappy unadjusted Japanese movement in it. Invcitas will not be water resistant, Invictas crystals will sctatch, and Invicta bands will fall apart. Any accuracy in purely a coincidence. A better measure of accuracy is how much it varies per day; yes it may be 10 seconds fast one day, but is it 30 seconds different the next. Buyer beware with Invicta.
I have been always swimming with my 9426 INVICTA and NEVER had any pb with water ! Of course that the mineral glass got some scratches over the time , we are not talking here about sapphire crystal, aren't we ? No link came apart , after more than one year of wering nothing happened to the band ! Now it keeps the time like my TRASER SUPERSPORT quartz watch :)) Paied 100$ , I am not an INVICTA fan but I think this brand worths the money !
