  • if Obama cared about gay civil unions he should wright it into law but he wont because he truly doesn't believe in it . you see i know your issues and the difference between you and i is i'm not a sheep i wont vote for the lesser of two evils. thanks to Obama im a supporter of Ron Paul even tho i don't agree with him on some issues but at least he doesn't pander like some do. Bloomberg offers $250,000 to Planned Parenthood that is a local mayor stepping in to pick up the short fall.

  • the "morning schmo"

  • who cares what little dick durbin says...

  • You seriously cut off his response?

  • I'm sick of political games.

If he entirely changed his message, they'd say he was flip-flopping. At least he's one person using the same phrases reflecting his personal beliefs.

When all the major GOP players use the same exact phrasing amongst themselves over and over, it's merely a matter of political marketing. Examples; class warfare, shore-up (inset noun here), cut taxes, deregulation, family values, etc... Repeated phrases aren't too sincere when everyone's coached to use them.

  • With all of the misinformation spread by Republicans; I think a lot of people will vote Democrat. The Romney/Gingrich fighting just serves to push more undecideds over to the left.

  • Dear Mr Priebus. I have one thing to say: Nice edit.

Careful, that statement is dripping in sarcasm.

  • Bush.....Iraq......T.S.A......The patriot? act....T.A.R.P

Obama..Iraq......Libya......N.D.A.A(national defensive authorization act)...Bank and auto bail outs

    Dr.Paul..The Constitution...Free trade..Liberty..State rights...True free markets and true Capitalism.

and trust me S.O.P.A will go under another name and Obama will sign it during a holiday or if he gets elected a second time. trust me the game is rigged weather its Obama or Romney it will stay the same.

  • @AlphaSigma Stop trying to make Ron Paul happen. It's not going to happen.

  • @marbeque Who signed N.D.A.A. Obama did, who said they would still sign it if they where in the white house Romney,Gingrich, and Santorum. if you can tell me what sets Obama,Romney,Gingrich, and Santorum apart(don't know who you support) and i will tell why Dr.Paul is different.

  • @AlphaSigma Ron Paul supported the Sanctity of Life Act, which would have defined personhood as something that began at conception. I support Obama because he believes in a female's right to make a decision for her own body. Furthermore Paul has some ridiculous claims about education and how it shouldn't be regulated at a federal level when states find it difficult enough to meet the bare minimum. How would they function any better on their own. Sorry he'll never be president.

  • @marbeque yes he did sign the Sanctity of Life Act.When exactly does human life begin? At conception, at birth or somewhere in between? that is the question.Dr.Paul stated,“It was pretty dramatic for me to see a 2 1/2pound baby taken out crying and breathing and put in a bucket while in the other room they where trying to save baby". Dr.Paul stated that he would leave it to the states. because its easier for you to influence local gov than Washington and that is what the founders wanted.

  • @AlphaSigma Birth, it begins at birth. God I am tired of that phrase "what the founders wanted," you have no idea what the founders really wanted. Mostly because today we deal with issues that are completely foreign to the founders. The founders didn't want women to vote, or slaves to go free, they wouldn't have thought about gay marriage, or abortion. Man, fuck the founders.

  • @marbeque es we do know what they wanted its in their writings and the the constitution pick up a book. the states have most of the power and why you may ask because they knew it was easier for you and i to have a say in local government than you or i going to Washington. gay marriage passed in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont, and New Hampshire and that's local government at work, it gives power to people if you want gay marriage in your state then fight for it.

  • @AlphaSigma 1. Like I said, the founders couldn't have imagined half the issues we have now, so don't put words in their mouth on how they would and wouldn't feel about something. 2. Sometime social change is needed at a federal level for consistency sake and because change would occur at an incredibly slow rate if left up to the state. Tell me how long would slavery would have lasted if it was left up to the states and the federal governemnt hadn't stepped in?

  • @marbeque you ask about slavery: in Britain the Slavery Abolition Act 1833 was passed, France 1789,Chile 1823,Canada 1803, all these country's got rid of slavery without a civil war. Lincoln was not anti slavery Lincoln noted in a letter to Horace Greeley "If I could save The Union without freeing any slaves, I would do it" read Thomas Dilorenzo

  • @AlphaSigma And the difference between American and these countries is that they didn't make these decisions at the state level, they made them through the central government.

  • @marbeque Britain had 600plus years on America and France had 700plus years on us. it was when the morality in those country's changed was when slavery was abolished. From 1776 to 1861 America was 85yrs old and in between that 19 states out of 34 abolished slavery and the country's morality was changing when the morality of the people change, it will reflect on the laws. The law is very important, but the law will not correct the basic problem: that’s the morality of the people.

  • @AlphaSigma And do you think things got automatically better for blacks in England when slavery was abolished? It's incredibly cruel to withhold someone's rights just because the white people aren't "ready for it yet". People are STILL racist today. Sometimes you need the federal government to step in (which can we talk about it how ridiculous it is to say the state isn't involved, that's why you vote for a congressman, he/she votes for you).

  • @marbeque slavery has been around since the dawn of man and yes i do agree with you that it is wrong to hold someones rights but at the same time the founders where a product of there time.eventually slavery would have ended Kansas was the last southern state to abolish slavery before the civil war.you can not change people by force 625,000plus americans died during that war,you think those family's forgot? generation and generation of hate built up because of what happened

  • @AlphaSigma 1. I am from Kansas sir, so I know my Kansas history, and it was never a pro-slavery state. It was a territory, and then it entered the union as a free state before the Cvil War. 2. "generation and generation of hate built up because of what happened " And that's why we have a black president in the white house today?

  • @marbeque your right on Kansas i was using abolish so much i did know about Kansas-Nebraska Act. my apologys

  • @marbeque I'm ending this debate because you will never see my side on goverment, but i have been on yours. i was once a loyal (D) but my view on the goverment has changed and my eyes have opened to see washington as is "CORRUPT".

When a government becomes powerful it is destructive, extravagant and violent; it is an usurer which takes bread from innocent mouths and deprives honorable men of their substance, for votes with which to perpetuates itself.

    Marcus Tullius Cicero

  • @AlphaSigma I thought you should have ended it when I said Ron Paul would never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever be president. Bye bye Alpha.

  • @marbeque tell me what has President Obama done? other than extend bush policy. did he not sign N.D.A.A? did he not prolong the wars? did close Git-mo? did he continue TARP? did he sign the patriot act? please i would like to know what has he done.

  • @AlphaSigma I thought you were going to take your ball and go home Alpha? But since you asked, repealed DADT, made it possible for young people like me to have heath coverage, bailed out the auto industry, withdrew troops from Iraq, improved benefits for veterans and active duty soldiers, ordered the operation that found Osama, and vowed to protect women's rights. So I don't know about you, but I'm pretty happy with all that.

  • @AlphaSigma You know, it's too bad a little thing like politics had to come between two fans of Rome. 13th!

  • @marbeque hahaha!!!Obama ending the iraq war? the Iraq war was is ending on the bush time table and on the auto bailout(Ford took no bailout)LMFAO that my friend was a chinese program (cash for clunkers), because china would not take our U.S. dollars for their exports, we had to send them a bunch of metal and steel for them to give us any type of credit to the. Alot of people don't realize that, that was a brain child of the chinese embassy, not the U.S.

  • not c@AlphaSigma Listen guy, we're not going to agree, just let it go and stop getting angry. We don't vote for the same issues, I believe in gay marriage and am pro-choice, I think universal heathcare is a great thing. I'm a liberal, you're a conservative, and you will not change my mind, just as I will not change your's. And that's okay. If you're mad about my Ron Paul comment, that's too bad, but the fact of the matter is he'll never be president, just deal with it.

  • @marbeque why so serious? hahaha!! I thought this was a debate? i guess pointing out the truth hurts. as you can see democrate + republican= hypocrisy. bye bye bye sheep

  • @AlphaSigma "I'm ending this debate because you will never see my side on goverment, but i have been on yours. i was once a loyal (D) but my view on the goverment has changed and my eyes have opened to see washington as is 'CORRUPT'." If I recall you said this about three comments ago, and trust me this is not a "debate," this is an argument in the comment section of Youtube. Like already said what I have to say and so have you. Obama will be re-elected, Ron Paul will never get the nomination.

  • @marbeque And I'm voting Obama because he supports universal heathcare, civil unions, and is pro-choice. I want Planned Parenthood to be funded, I want women's birth control to be covered under health insurance, and I want gay couples to have the same rights as a hetero couples. This is what is important to me, you can't say the same.

  • @marbeque so gay rights is important to you so i guess detaining american's with out due prepossesses and assassinating american's is ok with you also. what about the rule of law? is that not important?. i'm for constitutional gov and for the protection of civil liberties and the right to keep what i make. when Dr.Paul say's he would pull out all our troops from around the world and end foreign aid to take care of people like yourself who are so dependent on the gov that i can take

  • @AlphaSigma Yes it's important to me that a 14 year old rape victim isn't forced to have baby. It's important to me that a woman that's at high risk for ovarian cancer can afford to get a pap smear. It's imporant to me that two committed adults can make medical decision for the other when the other is seriously ill. Yes, those things are important to me. Ron Paul will never be president and the more I say that, the more I am comforted by it. His own party doesn't take him seriously.

  • @marbeque to the bank unlike Obama who promised quote: "I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank. since you love goverment i wonder how solyndra is doing, i wonder how happy all those people are that got mortgages from Fannie Mae and freddie mac i wounder.

  • @marbeque and black americans suffered the consequence of Lincolns war to end the republic and what did black americans get in return after the civil war the failure of reconstruction around 1865or1877 it took over 100yrs until the civil rights act was signed that black finely got there freedom. women's voting right took 80+ years before they got to vote and the same will happen with gay rights eventually all states will pass it

  • @marbeque tho i don't believe in gay marriage who am i to keep someone from there happiness.

  • @marbeque our founders fought and died so we could live in a free society...you say f*ck the founders.....I say someone like you doesnt deserve to live in a free society. you are a sheep that believes government should handle everything so you do not have to take care of yourself...sad really that you feel entitled the fruits of someone elses labor. people like you make me sick. there are plenty of dictatorships left; i suggest you move

  • @MegaMcreed Just because I don't subscribe to your particular politics I'm no longer a true American? By fuck the founders I mean fuck your idea of the founders and this idea that any sort of criticism is blasphemous. Government is a living breathing thing that has to reflect not only the people but the times, and this is no longer 1776.

  • @marbeque you are so pathetic and weak that you need the government to take care of you and protect you.

  • @SlimShadyBeast Yeah that comment would cut to the core, if your screen name wasn't SlimShadyBeast.

  • @marbeque Correct, this is not 1776 for sure! I don't think the Founding Fathers would have ever thought that people would just sit around on their ass waiting for the check to come.Who, in 1776, would have thought that the only way a politician could or would get elected is if they promised to give people things for doing absolutely nothing!? "The times" reflects the governmentmy friend, not the other way around. We have created a monster that is eating us up and the liberals keep feeding it!

  • @marbeque on education. Dr. Paul stated: "if you look at what government gets in involved in health care sky rocketing price, housing prices go up, the stock market price go up and education people are graduating with over 1trillon in debt and when they graduate there are no jobs for them". my question to you is where do we as Americans rank in the world in education? and has education gotten better in 40yrs?

  • @AlphaSigma Don't ask obvious questions we both know the answer to just so you can set me up to answer you already thought of. That quote says nothing about the alleged benefits of letting states regulate education.

  • Republicans are so OUT OF TOUCH with AMERICA....If they Hate everyone and they HATE AMERICA GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!

  • Finally MSNBC it toke you guys 4 years to play something about his and stop defending also people need to realize that he is an communist one of the finest in my personal opinion just play one of the Lenin's speeches ...

  • I wanted to hear what the senator had to say. Just for that I'll give you thumbs down

  • well atleast he is focused on certain issues... he is coming back every year and trying to hammer these important issues into congress head but their to occupied with saying NO!!!!
