umm open the terminal and type, sudo apt-get install xchat

then launch xchat and go into the ubuntu servers once connected type /join #geubuntu

or check you messages and email me

Perfect! Little question: since only 2D graphics drivers are installed does that mean 3D games are incompatible. I also thought this as the perfect Eee PC's new replacement OS.

We think so too. and 3d games will function. the 2d graphicing is only what the desktop and menus use. I have my ati running like a champ. Im no gamer but il bet it works fine.

it does rock... i don't think it's trying to replace kde and gnome, more work with them...

im loving this geubuntu... its the best os I have ever been on (and its still beta)..

if you stay away from the module desktop effects it runs amazing on 5-6-7 year old computers...

just the stuff they are doing using 2d graphics are unheard of in a desktop environment...
