On bmx bikes i think you can get more technical and theres more tricks.

i definitely prefer mtb over bmx though because bmx is pretty much only about airs/tricks/grinds. mountain biking is about airs and tricks + railing berms and turns + scenery and mountains + shredding fast. they're both a blast though. bicycles in general are the only way to live.

actually, they are both good. if ur a good BMXer, then ur pretty much guarenteed to be a great MTBer, because studies show that when you improve your fast movements, you also improve your slow movements, but not the other way around. for BMX, you need faster movements than MTB, so if ur an MTBer, then u should ride a bit of BMX too. ull get better FAST!
