i like your cooking directions but i don't like to hear you keep saying that one need to learn to cook so that they can cook for the husband. As a vietnamese woman, that sounds like one (esp. vietnamese women) should strive to know how to cook well to be a servant to their husband! i think one should/would want to learn to cook and enjoy cooking for themselved first! that's the better message that should be encourage...

Why do you always post that ad after your show. After I've watched how to make bun rieu, you have photo of woman and it is really scary to look at her. What is of this all about? Is she related to you and is she dead? Not only you have her photo on your site but you also have other photos too. I love to see your show but please stick with the cooking only as it is more pleasant to see instead of a man being tied up and about to be killed.

After you rinse w/ cold water, Instead of putting the small dish (chen) under the bun, you can put the bun inside the microwave and steam for about 5-10 mins depending on the amount of bun. It will remove the water content; tasting almost as if the bun was fresh. Be sure not to overheat, otherwise, the bun will be dried out. :)
