when you're in a band you suppose to steal the show from the other band members, each band member is fighting for the spotlight, not a single band member should feel that they're there to play for the singer or whatever but that they play for themselves.

I so agree! I was at the show in LA and everybody wanted to beat the shit out of that guy. I think he's a retarded cousin or something. He tries to steal the show...it just makes him look like an ass.
I just read an interview with Zach Condon and Jason something:
Zach: This guy [pointing to Jason] signed on...and he's a friend of my brothers and he's like "I play guitar," and I'm like "I don't think that will work, but come on, join the band. We'll see what works."
