goodbiggles: I don't think that's true, at least not with the swedish Idols. If you really wanted to, you could shake of the Idol-mark. That's the difference between the "real" artists and musicians, if your hearr's really in it, you can recreate yourself after Idol!

@ScottishFolkMusic Because you don't gain completely control over your recording career overnight. Winning Idol comes with certain conditions and she'll eventually break free of that like Kelly Clarkson did. She's also been gaining a lot of stage experience and that's making a huge difference in her sound.
