  • Nice geckos!

  • He's swedish

  • Excellent advice.

This amazing person helped my choose my gecko Lilac.

    Thanks for posting!

  • how much would one cost

  • I have a leapord gecko hes propaly 20+ years old hes very old, Hes very lazzey =/ and he eats lots is that good?

  • @backuganhelper if his tail is super big like really big then no, meduim yes.

  • I have 2 of these that i bought at petco a little over TWO YEARS ago. And they are both very healthy. I also bought a green iguana there about the same time, he is also veey healthy. If an animal at a big pet store is inhealthy, its not the stores fault . You just needa know how to take care od them right

  • thank you now i can figure out which baby leopard gecko i can get.

  • fail i went to petco a big pet store it had the best looking-healthy gecko ive ever seen and it wasent just one of them it was like 20 of them so i got one and ive had him for a year now and he is still living--apose to our towns private pet store the leo's wer $50 more and looked like they wer dying in a hell hole by the way they spacific cost was 80$ so before u make acusasions about large pet stores like petco or petsmart read what other people say about their gecko from a chane pet store.

  • i like you and all but...how you spell your name

  • @clgpuppup check the description but its Johan Svahnström

  • min bror hade 6 stycken såna(my brother gotted 6 of these) im from sweden

  • i need help.. my gecko goes phyco if i try to hold her i had her for six months and i hekd her alot of times but she always run's around the cage when i try to pick her up she's healthy and gets fed alot.. why is she so jumpy???? please tell me

  • @SuperFlipVideos I heard that some geckos just dont like to be held. But maybe youre a little to rough with her, like my dad is with mine (she always tries to bite him). Try to be calmer and approach her slower. Talk to her with a soft voice everytime you feed her, so she'll associate your voice with food. I did that with my gecko, and everytime I put my hand in her tank, she climbs on it. Shes only 6 months old.

    Good luck, I hope I helped :)

  • Oye vay. Babies do have skinny tails. Period. Once they start to get bigger, with a healthy diet, their tails get fatter.

  • thx

  • mites arent to hard to get rid of as long as there not all over in the substrate

  • In Filipino its called "TOKO"

  • Will you make a video of picking a healthy fire skink?

  • he sounds nazi

  • ***if anyone has any questions please ask me, inbox me or comment on my channel. I'll respond back in less than a day. Don't trust expert village they suck. Please ask questions on any pets. Thank You.***

  • good video very informational

  • good video

  • Most importantly, does it save you 15% or more on car insurance?

  • What does he say? "Hi, I'm Johan Svanström and..." what does he say next?

  • @Z3r0K1ll4h "........on behalf of expert village."

  • @rosswilson31094 Oh, ok.

  • That is one chill Leo, mine is good natured but would have scurried up my arm at some point during that video. And definitely would have done so the moment I lifted her tail like that.

  • @superyoshi3251 It all depends on the age. Even if they're juveniles, they should have some size to their tail.

  • get an african fat tailed gecko

  • is petsmart ok i need to know

  • can leopard geckos stick to walls

  • @TrT388 nopee. they are purely terrestrial. the dont have the stuff on their toes that makes them stick to glass and such.

  • expertvillage is as helpful as a moldy shoe. leopard gecko tails can fall off you now and i think that gecko was getting annoyed with you when you were touching his tail

  • @TheMattGREENER You're a dipshit! Leopard geckos only drop their tails when they are alarmed, that gecko was obviously not alarmed. Plus he was touching the bottom not yanking on it. Do your research fucking dumb kid.

  • **************Hello everyone if you have any questions please just email me or write on my channel.........I am jumper098123 .......So please just keep the questions coming!!!!!!!!!!Thank You****************

  • i got 2 of them and im worried because theres like 4 crickets in tank and the dnt eated

  • @elkiller413 Get the crickets out, crickets can eat your leopard geckos' tails, toes etc.

  • ok, i have one of these for my class pet and his name is geico, and...do they bite peoeple?

  • Be quiet. U dont know anything bout leopard geckos!!!!!!! Most of your facts are wrong!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrWaffles160 No actually they arent. He's owned reptiles for like 20 years, leave him alone you dumb kid.

  • Expert Village is sooo annoying!

  • THANKS!!!!!!

  • i bought my gecko 2 weeks ago and he had nothin rong with him and i love him his name is tanzi

  • i love my leo

  • love this creature!!! but i better pet dinosaur.!

  • Hi, i have a full grown male leopard gecko and my friend is giving me a blazing blizzard leopard gecko that is somewhere around 1 year, year and a half old. Will i be able to house them together?

  • can someone pleaseee watch my gecko video and tell me what kind of gecko she is?? leave a comment on the video and rell me and ill subscribe you, no matter who you are!!

  • @thecrazypetkid16 what video is it?

and whats the name of the video?

  • @lizardz2137 just go to my pages and its my gecko eating a bull cricket

  • @thecrazypetkid16 and where is that?

  • @lizardz2137 all you have to do is type in thecrazypetkid16 in the search bar

  • i just got my leopard gecko yesterday and he has not been eating is it because he is scared i am very worried and will he get used to it.

  • Probaly just stressed or unhungry. Their more of a nocturnal animal so it may be eating when your asleep. Nothing really to worry about unless it gets really skinny and weak :)

  • @flambique yes it probably will i just got a new leopard gecko too. after about an hour that i had it i triied hand feading it and it ate striaght out of my hand. so i would suggest hand feeding it for a couple weeks and even if you dont wanna hand feed you can leave your gecko for a couple of days so it can get comfortable in its new enviromnent and then try feeding it again and it should it the crickets rate up

  • This video doesn't help....

How do we know it has ticks and we can't examine it without looking at it.

The store employee is gonna be like wtf are you doing just pick a lizard. You Retard.

  • how many pet stores have u been in? usually the ones i go in, you can ask to inspect the animal b4 u buy it, ask to hold it, dont just pick it up

  • ExpertAnimal, What the fuck are you talking about? I'm sure they wont be all flipped out if you look at it and check and be sure it's healthy. The gecko is gonna live between 10-15 years.

  • you get one with a skinny tail, it's unhealthy

they need a large tail, because that's where they store all of their fat, and if you're feeding them well, and they have a thin tail... not good

  • @Randymyr I will look for one with a fat tail when i get mine thanks.

  • @Randymyr what if its 5 months old

  • @jeric6994 Even at five months, it should have a healthy sized tail, or at least be fattening up.

  • @Randymyr

To add to that, you might want to feed some waxworms or butterworms. It will help!

  • @Randymyr Don't they live off of the fat in their tails when food and water is scarce in the Desert? I mean, in their natural environment in the wild?

  • @jaxon12kh They do live off of the fat in their tail when food is not available. But it is possible for a gecko to become obese, like people. My friend actually has one that's obese. An overweight gecko is a very large possibility, which is why it's best to monitor their diet. An obese gecko will begin to store fat on its body, when its tail becomes too full. This is not healthy and can cause health problems in the future. But they don't store water in their tail.

  • @jaxon12kh Also, they don't really live in deserts. They live more so in a wasteland environment, which is much more populated and filled with water than a desert. They do live in sandy areas, but not deserts.

  • @Randymyr Actually, they DO live in deserts. Like in Afganistan,Pakistan, and India.

  • @jaxon12kh You do know that all of those are not strictly desert, right? Especially India.

  • @Randymyr Yes. But some parts, not all, are desert.

  • @jaxon12kh Yes, the country is partly desert, but leopard geckos don't live in those regions.Leopard geckos are not adapt enough to live in a strictly desert area. They come from wastelands, which are different. Same conditions food wise, but temperatures are less severe, there's more water and it's much rockier.

  • @Randymyr Ok. This is the longest conversation I've had with you. Anyone, to be exact. XD

  • if it has a skinny tail then it's unhealthy, ask yourself do you want an unhealthy gecko.

  • @kronoz1995 i hope your being sarcastic, right?

  • i hate people who buy animals...... be it Reptile cats, dogs.... and just breed em' for the money.

i'll be getting a gecko or two in a few weeks maybe a month and if i got 1 of each and they have little geckos. i'll GIVE them to friends or ill keep them

  • I bought mine you retard

  • And your point being?

What's the point in buying an animal just so you can make money out of it (Them)?

    That's just se;fish and Un-caring.

  • I bought him so I could take care of him not to breed him. It is wrong to make money off of animals because so many are being youthenized.

  • That i don't have problem with but just to make money from it is wrong

  • hey im on here for buisenss too

  • i have leos and breed them too but i also take very good care of them and handle each of them every day. i only sell them to people that i know will take care of them. i also get some sick leos and nurse them back to health. not all breeders are bad. the ones that sell to petco are bad though. i'v been to lots of there stores and seen sick geckos with skinny tails. don't buy from them.

  • hi im 11 and i conviced my parents to get me a leopard gecko and i know all out them do u think it will be easyer to have a small baby gecko or one that is a bit bigger like a inch or a half an inch bigger???

  • well i am into leopards alot they are amazing pets not only for beginners but for experienced reptile keepers also. a bigger gecko if its tame but if you want to tame one and raise it up babies are real fun also.

  • its good for people that ask how to take care of one

  • u arent very smart

  • thanks that helped cuzz im gonna get one this week fa show!

  • no need to talk like that

  • These guys are climbing all over my in-laws house.

I caught some small ones last year.

  • sell them.

  • thats normal they have a blue cover over their eyelids

  • my leo is all green with a purple tail its supposed to be lucistic with a carrot tail

  • my leo looks somewhat like that one

  • i need a tank and a lizardddddd

  • I WANT THAT GECKO, it has the exact color and amount of spots i want and it looks in awesome shape. I WANT NOW DARN IT

  • I KNOW.LOL

  • lol i bought one at petsmart tht could be tht 1's twin :)

  • im looking for a regular gecko not a leopard gecko!!!!!

  • define regular.

geckos are all part different subsepecies of the general "gecko" if youre looking for a gieco gecko, i think theyre called golden day geckos.

To my experience theyre all pretty friendly. all cept for tokay geckos at least. i heard theyre aggressive.

But leopard geckos are docile, fun to watch and they dont have the sticky toe pads so its tough for them to escape.

  • geico geckos are day geckos

  • no such thing as a "regular" gecko

  • um how much do these guys cost i am thinking about buying one

  • they cost about 30.00 dollars maybe just like a few bucks more but uhh at petco their only like 27.00 not that it matters but petco has a good varity!

  • i got mine for 74 us dollars but i didn't pay for it =P

  • i got mine for 90.00 us dollars bc it was fully grown lol. but yes, they generally are 25-50 us dollars

  • aw i bought baby gecko like 3 weeks ago and i got it for 17.00 at petco with the P.A.L.S Discount at petco so it went from 27 to 17.

  • I didnt have pals discount when i got mine, but now they sent me 2 coupons for 50 free waxworms :)

I bought adults though, their babies looked messed up :(

  • So if you have a petco card thing in your keychain then I can get a gecko for 17 dollars! Cool Ill save 10!

  • i found my lizards in my back yard aha

  • Comment removed

  • wow. i cant believe u have them in hamster bedding! thats not good for them

  • Don't know anyone who has a leopard gecko and doesn't hold it. They take humans better than most herps.

  • AGREE!!!! i have it and i handle it all the time!

  • Are you an idiot? Leos are the best herps to handle!!!

  • @makeitandskateit not realy. Bearded dragons are better at being handled. MOST bearded dragons are more hand able. Leos are cool though.

  • u are so wrong!

and shows u dnt know anything.

geckos love's being handled mine sits with me and watches tv for about 1 hour.

every single person who has a gecko has definetly handled it millions of times.

if u read some books or do reasearch u will see that geckos are very happy to be handeled.

i siggest you go learn before you say anything..

  • you might be thinking of tokay geckos, those ones tend to react violently.

But every other gecko ive seen especialy my leopard geckos love being picked up and getting outta the terrarium

  • if theres bubbles comeing out of its mouth then it might be sick...

    DUH!!!!

    retard

  • not everyone knows that dumb ass.. why would you bother watching this then?

  • hey my gecko is a baby, she dont drink water, and she does not want to eat.IDK WHY NOT!I put the mealworms in front of her and sometime(RARELY) she eats them!No impaction either i got it on like paper towel!

    what should i do?

  • well.Dont feed her for 1 day then feed her the next.thats what i do and usually they get liquids from the mealworms.also about the water.Try doing it with a eye dropper or sumthing small.ill make a vid 2morow

  • well its a baby!

  • well.

take out all hids spots and then drop in really small crikets..about 2-4 then it might eat.but for water try the eye droper for a while before the drinking bowl

  • hey jay, dont worry about the drinkin, but make sure there is always clean water available, lizards gt most moisture out of food my gekos wont eat meal worms at all. feed your lizard wax moth grubs,to get it eating, but dont feed them to it all the time,as it will just get fat, my lizards like crickets, and eat about 5 to 6 a day, mine are under a year old, and some days dont eat at all. if your not sure, buy a book.

  • ok its eating now but went into hibernation is like 75-80 deg. F

  • that temp is fine, on a night time in the wild the temp drops, but i just leave mine the same, but i have a plastic box with a hole about 2inch diameter cut in the lid, with substrate in it about 2 inch deep, i keep this damp, so they can go in to cool,or to shed their skins.
