me and my best friend were on Netflix mocking kiddie shows (just curious George really.love the animals.the humans are morons.) i turned on this show, we were hardly 30 seconds in (up to the part were he told ''us'' what story they were ''rescuing'') and she said '' turn it back to curious George, ..... please!'' thats just how unbearble this show is .
Some information.Teaching English cartoon "Super Why!" A series of cartoons, which teach kids the alphabet, spelling, phonetics, grammar and correct usage of words. In the game shape kids will learn English - with pleasure! Each cartoon is given a lot of useful material.
my two year old loves this show - it is helping her learn the alphabet. she doesn't care if the nursery rhymes are being changed. just think of it as a different interpretation of the stories meant for pre-schoolers.
While I can see the value in showing the consequences of changing words, I have a problem with the major alterations to classic stories. Even before they make their word change at the end of each episode, they have completely rewrittend the story.
I would like to meet Whyatt AKA "SuperWHY". I don't know if PBS Kids would allow a "Meet and Greet" with him. In case they do, I want to schedule it for the day the series began (Labor Day 2012.) Now, in case they do not... well.. I don't know what to think of.
I like this show! My favorite part was at the end of the super stories. Little Bo Beep finds her sheep, the Big Bad Wolf is good, and the Little Red Hen gets help.
My 3 year old son LOOOOOVES Super Why! Thank you, PBS! ^_^
Oh, thanks to Super Why I'm also playing seamstress for Halloween. It seems nothing is good enough for a costume unless he can be Super Why. Success! :D

I think these new shows are rubbish. Babies shouldn't watch this; they need the old rugrats.

It sounds kind of weird for a big kid like me to watch a baby show and like it! It's very contagious, last night I dreamt about being a Super Reader!

Although, they take away the point and morals/lessons of the stories' original endings.
