No one mention farming in this video, he isn't even bothering to loot monsters, when you grind its normal not to loot just move onto next mob as fast as possible for max xp/hour. Grinding is about fastest xp and killing speed, and grinding usually ignores tougher mobs because they take more time, but when farming most people seek them out on purpose for better loot.

no farming means getting money or certain items from selected mobs, grinding is the opposite you spent money for preparation to get most exp out and usually you don't care which mobs as long as they r close by and give good exp, without caring about anything else.

I can do something you claim impossible, yet I have no overview of the game? LoL! I have a lvl 63 lock my friend. I was taking out flight masters, elite lvl 60s, when I was a 50. I told a friend in-game about it and he thought I was full of bs too. Then I owned the FM next to us. It's not easy, but it can be done.

For that matter, most of my grinding was done on npc's 5 lvls or more above than me.

These days I kill lvl 70 npc's regularly, and yes, sometimes they're elites.

I was thinking the same thing about the shadow damage. But not for UA. Not using UA it friggen retarted. Mine ticks for almost 400 and it along with corruption 430 tic plus coa that shit does the job. Otherwise you'd have to drain life at least once to kill them. Now if he was putting on UA after coa and corr then hes a tard. Doing it first is fine though. I just wonder why he isnt using siphon. And why the felhunter? He wastes all his mana on his abilities. I just use mine as a mana tank.

Also he needs to use IHOT more. It's aff locks best friend. I usually get 4 racked up and then IHOT. Then move to 4 more. You dont need to be getting hit at all while doing this. Also he should use some drain life to keep ur hp and mana up

It really depends, Heavy spec affli is for raiding and that world of PvE. Otherwise Pve grind-spec you really dont need to go much farther than ShadowMastery. It would probably be, or look like, SL/SL spec; Have instant casts, enhanced DoT dmg, more life, CC, and spelldmg. And dipshits, destruction beats out affliction in real end game raiding (t5) but ull get smoked in DPS without the gear for it.

Dark Pact is not the only thing pet mana is used for. You're gimping yourself if you use pet mana only as your mana. A shard isn't meant to be used for just one thing, neither is pet mana.

He chose the felhunter because it has a good bit of HP, can do more dmg than VW, and tanks better without using mana. I believe, might be wrong, that he has darkpact and so succ or imp will die much faster than the Felhunter in this situation.

Ha, yes. Competing with a mage in killing many non-elites at once is hard as a warlock. However, mages have instant cast PBAoE and warlocks can convert heals into mana.

1. My felhunter has the most mana of my pets. Mana is critical for this kind of grinding (Dark Pact). Also, if horde come a long I like to have him out to cleanse and spell lock.

2. +394 spell damage without trinkets. I have both the ToEP and the ZHC.

3. I suppose Immolate would work just as well as UA, having the same cast time. I'm using UA because it is new.

Put it this way, Locks are the true backstabbers because they don't need to "look" at you in order to use their spells. This is one of the biggest reasons why they so badly need to be nerfed.

Locks played correctly are very powerful, but are full of their own weaknesses. I honestly can't say that any class is overpowered, but it may seem that way when you're playing one of the "scissors" to a "rock" class.

Oh yes, and this is after the UA nerf (1.5s cast) and *before* the coefficient buff. UA takes away a little mobility, but the power of the spell is balanced with the cast time.
