I like the fact that the new 90210 is not a carbon copy of the original-Remember saved by the new bell, the new class? That really blew- and that this time they actually cast teenagers.

Having said that, this show will most likely go 3, 4 season tops. The reason is that the characters are just so lame. The original BH 90210 may habe been cheesy and everything, but the characters were just so darn endearing that you just have to watch the show to find out what was going on with their lives.

Yea i used to be one of those people who would argue that show is just starting and that you can't compare the original bc this is a new generation but i've given up. AND IT FEELS SO GOOD. Honestly, i watched and the show didn't get better. The writing is bad but the actors are even worse.I was excited to have another OCtype show in California but this is not working. Maybe in a few years they'll come up with something a bit more creative and with a cast that people will actually love to watch.

I did, however like how Kelly and Brenda returned.

yeah I've been reading a few reports on their relationship. Apparently this now show has 'allowed them to renew and repair their friendship' which is great to hear!
