like what do they mean by drinking and driving??? like if you drink a soft drink like soda or soda pop how ever you say it sorry to sound negative on here
lmao. . . It's so noisy where I am I couldn't hear what was being said. . . lol but it was hilarious!! I'll watch it again later and maybe it'll make more sense.
I remember the first time I saw this ad. It loses it's power with repeated viewings, but I DO remember that it grabbed my attention! It actually conveys pretty well what an accident really feels like - the sudden change from calm to disorientation and chaos. The purpose of the ad is to shock you, and therefore make you think. And to connect what you do in the pub to what happens out on the road - a link that's too often forgotten. Loafofpint is seriously missing the point.
As evidenced by these comments, this advert's message is too subtle.
Decisions you make at the pub - like to have just one more beer - effect what will happen later when you drive. The second he decided to have one too many, he set in motion the chain of events that led to tragedy.
Once you're driving drunk, you can't really prevent tragedy. Prevention has to happen HOURS BEFORE you get in the car - when you plan for a sober ride, limit your drinks, or save money for a taxi.
My problem with this ad is how over the top it is, also I think there should be adverts for pub workers. I remember a time I was on the wagon due to my performing schedules, I went to buy a soft drink and the woman was like 'that's £2, cheaper to buy beer', that culture is just as irresponsible.
i love this one hahaha.. look at her mangled body.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
"Bullshit" is a more suited word. Talk about missing the point in so many ways. I'll name a few.
1) The majority of drink drivers are not drinking behind the wheel.
2) The majority of drink drivers aren't going to be staring at a girl from afar before suddenly realising they're about to hit her.
3) Drink driving is a source of international worry, so the idea the woman would be completely ignored is stupid.
4) It's a stupid fucking ad to begin with.
Think! Make better adverts.
