  • I studied in Aarhus and I love it! :-) Thanks Denmark!

  • 28 bor ikke i danmark

  • FOR FÆDRELANDET!!!

  • KING DIAMOND!!!

    Hail Denmark.

  • 2625 -vallensbæk ;D it´s my hood!

  • @solidysnake1 I think this is true. A friend of mine has a boyfriend that moved here from Denmark (to USA). he like it better, but I would probably feel the same if I moved to Denmark. Depends on where you came from, really.

  • @Slaveofamv Or, just don't bother with a car at all. I do live mostly car-free in the USA< but it is not as easy as there. We pay for gas in subsidies to the oil companies and war with countries over seas for cheap fossil fuel.

  • @micp4130 You also invest much more in other infrastructure, not just car as King like the USA>options for transit, busses, extremely well designed dedicated bicycle infrastructure. We get so little for our buck in the USA, just subsidized parking lots and subsidized gas. We pay for it regardless. In war as well as time spent in traffic. Sickening. You probably pay closer to the real cost of gas, something the USA needs to do and tax it much heavier so we can design our system better

  • you pay for those needs, regardless. at least it is not like my country, the USA< we are always in fear of losing everything. Someone could get ill and we could lose our homes. Many have crippling debt in school. People living on credit. Abysmal minimum wage. It is not a healthy atmosphere. Too much worry. I would prefer a safety net, simplified life, less worry. The people of Denmark also have more wealth per Capita than the USA. It is a very efficient system.

  • ja Danmark er bare det bedste! Denmark is the best

  • wtf? 3:11 that's not a word? xD

  • @Mane40

Thats bullshit bro, and so is your english. Im from Denmark myself and im proud to announce that i love it here and so does lots of my friends and all this shit you guys are saying about high amounts of people committing suicide is also fake.

  • worktrotter.dk enough said

  • Whether we live in the poor areas of the United States of America (white, black or Latino), or the high suicide-rate countries like Lithuania, Ukraine, Moldova, Hungary , or the countries struggling against dictators or religious extremists like Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Syria, Bahrain, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco, Somalia, Sudan and Chad, we should all ask ourselves hard questions about why people are so happy in Denmark, and why we are so unhappy.

  • The Danes are happy if they get their beer and their check from the government. Denmark also has a high suicide rate. Two of my neighbors there commited suicide.

    My cousin commited suicide also.

  • @PIANOPHUNGUY you must be the sattest person in denmark

  • the danes use bikes bcause their can not afford buy a car XD is true!

  • Comment removed

  • @MANE40 or not

  • @MANE40 The narrator said "They all can effort cars, but choose bikes". This is true, if you are unable to earn money in Denmark, you get payed by the government, and you get enourgh to buy a car and a small apartment etc.

  • THAT IS NOT TRUE! please don´t say that bcause for that kind of lies is why many poor people come to DK. Unemployed money is a misery, and you can receive for only 2 years, from that you are for your own. We can say 8.000kr (right?) free taxes, 5 or 6000 only the aparment, you need pay water, hot water, telephone, food, and you think also a CAR? Have a car in Dk is a luxus stuff, you know how much pay for year??? Your will be a candidate for "Luksus falden" XD, take a revisor dreamer.

  • @MANE40 Why not get a job, if you can't find a job after 2 years, maybe you should consider how smart you actually are? for fuck sake, you sound so spoiled

  • @MANE40 why have a car there?

  • @simonmaersk I hate owning a car. Waste of $ I wish the USA would invest in proper dedicated bicycle infrastructure, more transit. It is sickening here. I mean, I bike everywhere, take the bus, etc... but much of the system is ill fated, poorly planned, just plain sad. I pay for parking lots and car infested roads... only getting little stripes in the road for bikes. Sad.

  • @djkenny Same shit here in Denmark. Owning a car here is much more expensive than it is in the US, because we have taxes that are sky high. When you buy a car, you have to pay 4 times the price of the car in tax. And our roads are not really good.

  • @simonmaersk I just like that you can live car-free there. Our bicycle infrastructure is in the stone age compared to the good planning there. I am selling my car, I don't want to deal with the costs. It is a waste owning a car and not a healthy means of getting around. You guys are doing it RIGHT.

  • @djkenny May be. And i agree partially with you. I mean its the best for the environment and it's pollution free, but the weather in Denmark is like ½ of the year is winther with rain, grey clouds, wind/storm snow, blackice and -5-20 degrees C. The other ½ of the year is like fall with more rain, grey clouds, storm and about 3-10 degrees C. I barely walk outside my house if it isn't neccecary, and i definitely dont wanna use a bike for transportation in this weather! Its just depressing

  • @simonmaersk I watch the weather in Denmark and in The Netherlands. It seems Netherlands tend to be slightly warmer. In Portland OR, USA. weather is about 5 degrees av warmer than Denmark, get about equal wet weather, but by USA standards (which are quite low) we have good bike infrastructure. Funny how some of the warmest, sunniest areas have minimal attn given to cycling needs while the less sunny, more wet, even at times "snowy" areas do? I feel better after biking, helps during grey times.

  • spontaneous gathering? That doesn't exist in Denmark, sure there is hygge but it is not spontaneous. Always planned.

  • I cant help it i love watching all the country loyal freaks go on about denmark being shit since 90% of those saying its shit or it sucks havent ever been here its obvious they're too proud to admit their own country have competition.

But really countries are nothing more then dirt with constructions and a fancy name now is it? So people start acting mature honestly yes im from denmark but i do speak for everyone in the world here

  • Denmark is only the happiest place for white danes!

Denmark has many female directors, politicians and store managers, but there is no equilibrium of ethnic on the labor market and in parliament, it is shocking to see they have introduced affirmative action in the system...

It's unfair to see so many high educated ethnic from Denmark, who can not get a job at the expense of their skin color el. origin, we see more Danish residents move to U.S. and UK leaving Denmark a bad reputation!

  • @MsBlackbusiness hehe are you pasting your message to every danish channel, are you that desperate. anyway the friends i have from all around the world living here in denmark, have no problems at all finding a job. and it counts people from africa, eastern europe, usa and middleeast and asia. I think if you try hard enough you'll find an education and eventually a job. so keep on trying, one day it'l work out for you too. so don't be a racist, thats humiliating for you. were you from?

  • ..When did Christian Bale become a journalist?

  • I am descendant of danes that immigrated to Brazil! Can I still go back? :D

  • @DirectorJK hehe again a copy/paste from the loser from Lithaurania. what a jerk

  • @DirectorJK

Its called Danes not denmarks lol you failed sir

  • I was living in Denmark 7 month. Wish I would be danish. They are so lucky becouse they live there. Those people who are unhappy in Denmark would be unhappy in everywhere. spoiled or jeoluse monkeys who have no respect for this amazing country.

  • @christina91ism you're really so right if you can't be happy here in Denmark or Europe, you can't be happy anywere.

  • Comment removed

  • I hate people saying that Denmark suck ass.. Have you ever been here? Well, i live in Denmark, i was born here, it's my home.. I love Denmark, even though we're not perfect.. What i enjoy, is the people in Denmark, we're able to live, buy the things we want to, etc. we're not many poor people in Denmark.. Really, I think it's about the people you're hanging out with, your family and friends will make your life good or bad :-)

  • ''And while me might be nr1 in wealth and power'' is that a joke?

When people say Americans are stupid i can only agree if they say that kind of shit on tv.

  • It bothers me so many from other countries are calling this study for fake when they do not live here. I've live in Denmark for 18 years now and i often think about how lucky i am for living here. Im very proud of being danish and i would not change my country for any other. Danmark mit fædreland.

  • I'm a happy Dane!

    I looove Denmark! :D

  • There is'nt cold in Denmark all the time. Only in the winter, like many other countries. They just filmed at a bad time. Only today there was 25 degrees..

  • @AmalieLNBieber You might want to add "Celsius", since in USA they use Fahrenheit. :b 25 degrees Celsius is 77 degrees Fahrenheit. 25 degrees Fahrenheit is -3,89 degrees Celsius, which IS cold. xD

But yeah, the summers can be warm. Actually, the Danish weather is extremely mixed between sunshine, snow, rain, clouded, storm, hail and so on - if you include the whole year. ^^

  • @nice4607 I hear you cut yourself i feel sorry for you and your depression, seek help. how come you cry all the time? remember to shift accounts when you write the exact same thing. you're making it too easy for us. justice is coming to you and your aka's i will personally confront you one day. I've got a lot of people searching right now. Look behind you, cause one day..........VGH, MUNK, MEGAKAPSER, NICE, MSMADS, GSTVNETORK, KARINA83, BANGLADESH are the same person, I will find you one day

  • @nice4607 why do you live here then? you must be very stupid, please answer me WHY DO YOU LIVE HERE??????

  • @jr32142 I know dennis, very well. the reason he is here is because he is looking for a man who robbed him and took all his money and left his american driver license at the crime scene :). He needs his money back from him and to meet the first person who ever committed a crime at his neighborhood.

  • @vgk7131 Hey i come from denmark. Is the best country on earth

  • Girls apparently a disappointment to look at for men with fantasies of Scandinavian women....from reconnaisance reports they are Not feminine and quite hefty!

    Can anyone confirm?

  • @MsMads93 I've lived in Denmark for over 20 years now, and i am happy. It's a personal feeling that i share with the rest of Denmark. You can't deny that i am happy, it's my own feeling, that i feel deep inside me. It doesnt necessarily have anything to do with, money or schools and so on.

I will live in Denmark to the day i die. I'm proud of being danish! :)

  • It's the most mediocre country in the entire world. It's sad that's what socialism does to a populace.

  • @jordanbrantleymoore What is your point? Do you have some kind of agenda to tear up something that is working better than the USA? I would prefer worrying less and having more equity any day over the fear and haves/have nots in the USA>ANYDAY

  • "9 in 10 are ethnic Danes"–God forbid there are Danes living in Denmark!

  • Im from DK and all thing´s are expensiv (benzin 12kr 1lt)

  • Denmark sucks ass, happy country i don't think so. Depressed and boring country hell yes.

  • nationmaster(dot)com/graph/hea_sui_rat_mid_age-health-suicide-rate-middle-aged

Should work, or send me a private message for the link.

  • This is one big hoax. Suicide rates in Denmark are above average, depression rates are estimated 20%, Denmark ranks 2nd in terms of suicide rates ( middle aged ), this video intentionally asked all the rich danes while ignoring the middle class. Denmark is far from a happy and great country it's not really a good country to live in anymore.

  • Denmark sucks, this is one big fraud. Sweden & Norway are better than Denmark in many ways, denmark is really a small and unknown shithole, and this research is far from the truth.

  • "I can't get over the fact that this is the smallest '7 Eleven'-sign on the planet!" Hahaha! I laughed my bud off! xD

  • I'm from Denmark and I don't love handball.. He makes it sound like every daner loves handball...

  • Comment removed

  • @soffesen International studies also tend to show that on average every 4 to 5 people will suffer from depression at least once in their lifetime. Showing Denmark isn't unique. Not all cases need treatment, but I think it's only positive they readily treat mental illness with little taboo attached to it, since many mental illnesses, including depression can cause permanent damage in the brain worsening the mental state over time.

  • @Badjakaru yes that's right people can be stuck in the system for lifetime even if it was years ago they were treated. Maybe Soffesen should try it out before their brains are completely damaged, i think he should seek help, i9t couldn't harm him/her. who knows it could actually change him/her to a happy person instead

  • @Badjakaru Depression rates in Denmark are high, dude wtf, 20% that's almoust 1/4 of the population.

  • @Badjakaru Look at the link i posted on your profile, Denmark has the end highest suicide rates in the world. This is just one big fraud, i am still researching more about this happy-denmark hoax.

  • @soffesen 20% with depression isn't bad. Depression is THE most normal psychiatric illness in the world. And if the statistics on Depression are that high in Denmark means people readily seek help for it and treat it, for free - not that it's a product of the society. The 25% of the people that are registered in the psychiatric system is that high, because people are registered there usually for life, even if they are treated for depression ONCE in their life.

  • @Badjakaru 25% that's just crazy, that's exactly 1/4 of the entire population in Denmark. This can't be anything but a hoax. Even the suicide rates in Denmark are high, go to Nationmaster(dot)com and look up suicide rates for middle aged people, Denmark ranks 2nd. I'll just send you the link. Both depression and suicide rates in Denmark are high and people claims it to be a happy country, what the ..

  • The majority of Danes are depressed and unhappy. The danes in general are very isolated and lonely, their economy is bad, they suffer from low economical growth, majority of Danes are mentall ill and the danes in general are retarded.

  • @MsMads93 Sorry you're so depressed don't take it out on the rest of us, have a great weekend, i'll be pissed friday and saturday.

  • I Love Denmark and England like like majority we love our countries

  • @Everion Who cares.

  • Stupid biased American reporter. Jealousy? LOL

  • im from denmark and im unhappy

  • i think denmark sucks and is not happy

  • weird i dont think our small cold and unown ( spelled? ) country could be happy...

  • im from denmark and im not happy

  • @karina83ify You wouldn't be happy no matter where you are,I'm happy in America and I was happy when I traveled s.e Asia even though it was 3rd world and I got sick to much, happiness is in the heart,no one can give it to you.Danes like a nanny state government though.I like the smallest most unintrusive government I can get and I hate taxes as much as I hate big government. So I wouldn't care for the gov. in Denmark.I love the small 7/11 sign:-)

  • @USAdude30 If someone offered me work in Denmark,I would go in a heartbeat. I do not like the worry that comes w/ being an American. We have to worry about paying for higher education, having a car if the place we live is poorly planned, health care, losing everything we worked for if someone got sick, has a prior health condition so cannot even GET health insurance, etc. We can argue how great it is in the US and never learn to modify/make things better, what good does that do?

  • @djkenny You make allot of sense but I don't recall my previous comment, nor do I see it here"go figure" What did I say for this reply.I'm 1/2 Danish from Odense and want to see it and meet Danes in Denmark but at this time EU,US and Canada are being destroyed from with in.

  • @vgk7131 instead of waiting for healtcare, just move your fat ass down the hospital or doctors house, you can't expect they'll come to you, just beacuse you sit on your lazy fat ass, doing nothing. just walk down to the doctor. it's easy (first right foot, the left foot, right, left, right, left) you might even get some exercise. try it

  • @vgk7131 yeh 4 months, but you didnt pay for it, that whas the pupclic of denmark did, and you have max 5 months waite, sooo we are the happyest in the world.

    fuck usa

  • Toyket! What the f¨ck is toyket!!!

  • @AnnesFlashBack I think he mispronounced the word "tryghed" - means safety, security - feeling safe. in the context its about the healthcare and welfare system: if you get down on your luck, there will be something to fall back on - this gives you a sense of safety. it also makes you worry less about bad times.

Do keep in mind that this video is OLD. 7-11 has signs like everywhere else, and there will be showy people and other asshats that show off their bling. btw, I am danish :3

  • @webkilla Ohh..! I understand. Thank you. You know, non other than scandinavian people, can speak danish proberly! :D

  • @AnnesFlashBack well ya - the foreign exchange students i study alongside with (i'm a grad student, again - delicious free university educations) all agree that danish is fucking hard to learn, if not learnt when a child. oh and btw: free education does not mean easy education: i've been at this for 5 years... and it aint easy

  • @webkilla Rød grød med fløde :D

  • @AnnesFlashBack Ja hva med det?

  • @Lemonz1989 You sound much like another guy i had a debate with, can't remember his name. Anyway, since we don't know who those 60,000 people are, how can you say for certain that the test is accurate? How do you know for sure that if they asked the average person in Denmark that he, or she would answer yes, i am happy? I don't believe that most people in Denmark are happy as happiness is difficult to define, unless we are speaking materialistic happiness of course. But content - Yes.

  • @Lemonz1989 Well basically because anyone can come up with a report saying that they know 60,000 people on a small country of 5,5million people and therefore it is the happiest place on earth. I could probably upload a video as well claiming America to be the richest country because i know 60,000 Americans who are far more wealthy than any Dane. But as long as i don't have any evidence or documentation on who these 60,000 people are, how do you know for sure that this isn't a hoax?

  • @Lemonz1989 I agree with your explanation on being content. Very wise words, indeed. With happiness being selfish, do you mean that people who are happy does only care about themself? or?

  • @Lemonz1989 There is a major difference between being happy and being content. I believe that a lot of people here in Denmark are content though far from happy. You can be content with your life, and at the same time being completely careless towards everyone else. There is even people in Denmark who indeed are content but honestly don't give a damn about everyone. You won't convince me that these people are happy and, quite frankly, i doubt that you will convince anyone at all. ( except danes )

  • @Lemonz1989 The research with satisfaction with life index intentionally asked the "wrong" people. They intentionally asked 60,000 wealthy and rich danes how much they enjoy life, however since we don' have the name on those 60,000 people in Denmark who claims to be happy it is impossible to take this research serious by any means. Since we don't know who those 60,000 people are, basically there is no documentation or evidence to this research.

  • @Lemonz1989 Denmark and USA basically isn't as good in science and reading. USA is by far better in both areas, you would had known that Denmark is placed lower USA in both terms if you had seen the PISA results. The US is therefore better on a broader area than Denmark.

  • Actually the mice do talk in Denmark :)

  • in Denmark you can go to the hospital for nothing.

in Denmark you can get paid for taking an education.

in Denmark we are so wealthy that we didn't have a limit to how little you should make a year to be poor.

in Denmark you CAN'T be poor unless you give all you money away inclueding those you'll get from the state.
