I read somewhere on here that V6 Camaro's & the Sentra are on the same par when it comes to power. My g.f. who has a 6 banger 93 Camaro can tell you that simply isn't true. Sure the 2 cars might have horses that are close but the V6 Camaro is faster than the 4 banger Nissan Sentra 1.8 at least.

My 1st car was a 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8 Liter 4 banger. It sucked! The only thing remotely special about it was the gas mileage. Acceleration, fast driving, the interior & exterior design, etc. All of that wasn't any good except that it was at least reliable in driving long distances without filling up alot. I went on a long stretch of road one night to see what that car could do & damn, I had my foot on the gas, all the way down & it took forever for it to hit 90. I let off after that.

Neither my Spec V or Maxima are riced.. my Maxima is bone stock, and the only exterior mod on my Spec V would be my grille swap for Billets. Not only with both of my cars accelerate faster than a mustang/camaro/firebird V6 pile, they will run circles around them (even big bad V8s) when it comes to sharp, fast handling. Displacement: Spec V, 2.5L. Maxi 3.0L. Soda 1.6L

The new Mustangs may pull a 0-60 in 7.1 seconds, but the pre '05 models 0-60 is rated at 9.9 seconds straight from a mustang parts and accessories website. Look it up. And 7 seconds to 60... it's quick and certainly not slow, but i'm not impressed for a new car. I guess they are heavy as hell though. But honestly, having a V6 "muscle" car is retarded. Completely defeats the purpose of the car, which is.. and ONLY is, to go fast. Not to handle like a sports car.

Those parts sites claim exhaust tips will give you hp too if you believe that and most ricers do. Single port V6 mustangs dont pull 0-60 in 7 seconds but 99-04 Split ports do. SN95s only had 150 hp while New Edges have 193hp and around 230ft lbs torque S197 4.0s have 210hp. So you need to get your facts straight and stop spreading BS. Its easy to talk about how fast your ricemobile is on the internet but if your in or near maryland I'll meet you at MIR or Capitol.

haha are you being sarcastic? The ZR1 has a tuned independent rear suspension. You are correct about the non-independent suspension of the Ford, which the main purpose is for straightline speed. And the Sentra, at least if it's an SE-R or Spec V riced to the max, it has a tuned multi-link, semi-independent torsion beam axle.

Independent > Semi-Independent > Non-Independent

I have and i know the difference between a SN95 a New Edge and a S197 mustangs. You are the one claiming a SN95 time is what the New Edge runs. While New Edges are lighter than SN 95s and have 45 more HP. I will give you that SN 95s are slow as shit but its a 15 year old car. There is no comparison between it and the KA. 240's are down 20hp and 20tq, stock for stock, and depending on what year it is, they're 1-2 full seconds slower 0-60.
