I have always owned F150s but with that said the reason the Ford won has nothing to do with the brand of truck. The Ford owner waits until the Chev begins to spin and lose traction. At that point he just motors forward. Its a great strategy which always works if the other guy stands on the throttle until he spins.

@vachamps they're really isn't a good diesel. One of my friends owned a duramax, the injectors went out @ 140,000 miles and it was a $7,200 fix. He also owned a powerstroke and the headgasket went out. Another $6500 fix. I can not seem to justify spending that much money on buying the diesel option for 8 g's when i could rebuild 2 or three gas motors for that price.

That f250 weighs over 1000 pounds more than a Chevy 3500 that's why I bought the ford its built heavier duty. I like both and have owned both but I would rather have a ford they seem more reliable.
