I'm sorry about your loss....being a firefighter is alot of work...they didn't even have a sufficient water supply...and the equipment they wear is heavy anyways, again I'm sorry for your loss but remember, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger....God Bless you.

What was the fire department response time ? In my city, I noticed those guys aren't in too much of a hurry, guess they assume everything is a false alarm
If the call comes in, we do what we can to hurry. Fire departments have standards that they have to meet. If the call comes in as a confirmed fire..which i would guess this one did..We go as fast as we can. Don't dish that crap out.
Right so we're supposed to risk the other 100 people's lives who we pass in cars on the way to the scene to get there maybe one minute faster??? That's your logic? Why don't you try walking in our shoes for a day...BTW I'm a fire fighter if you couldn't tell.

sorry to hear about this...I know how you feel, about 6 months ago my house had a fire, my parents were at work and I came home to the fire, went inside to try and do something(I'm a voluntter f.f) but it was to much, we lost everything...so I know what its like...sorry though.
