I question the medical ethics of providing expensive fertility treatments to a couple that don't even meet adoption criteria. Why the hurry? Very immature on there part, but doctors should have said no to the cheque and yes to their oath.

I think the original Dr and or DRs that did the invitro are particialy at fault. Six months is a TERRIBLE short time to be married b4 u start invitro.Yoe need to get to know each other first. Then tho have it againe when the twins were only two is immoral to me.

That's true. I think the fertility wasn't a good idea for them. Having children isn't something you gamble with. So many at one time can cause stress and strain on even the greatest marriage. My prayers are with their family... especially the children. They play an innocent role.

@megavideogameplayer1 when you take medicine to support your fertility you can ALWAYS get pregnant with more than one child... this is not unusual... so both knew that they could get more than one new family member (so they did before).
in my eyes they were too irresponsible to have more children, but maybe this tv-show is not representative for their everyday life. If it is, i feel sorry for these kids because they have to grow up in a very superficial, unloving and confusing world.

My parents divorced about a month ago, having been married for 20 years. And just recently, I found out that my mom did it for me and my twin sister. Stayed with our dad that whole time...I might have been upset if they divorced when I was little, but now...not so much. Maybe it's better in the long run, maybe not...We'll all just have to see.
I definitely agree. After my grandma died, my mother became really stressed like Kate. She bickered a lot at my father unreasonably. As a young teenager, I hated the bickering because it made me feel sad. Part of me would rather they divorce so the bickering would end. Many years later, they are still married with everything worked out.

When I see Mady's huge smile as she's "dancing" to the TV, I get tears in my eyes now. All this shit that's hit the fan with the Gosselins really saddens me. It also saddens me to think of what the twins are going through right now. Kate said on a recent interview that the girls didn't know about the problems as of late, but I don't think she gives children that age enough credit.

I think the original Dr and or DRs that did the invitro are particialy at fault. Six months is a TERRIBLE short time to be married b4 u start invitro.Yoe need to get to know each other first. Then tho have it againe when the twins were only two is immoral to me.

I don't call it trying to play god. If god hadn't wanted them to have this many kids then they wound't have thats plain and simple. further more the rules are different with iui then they are wiht invitro its not as much of a complex process

i am NOT trying to defend them, i TOTALLY agree with you, but i was only 2 yrs when my first sis was born and then she was 2 (and i was 4) when my 2nd sis was born. and then 2 yrs later my last sis was born.

Jon seems to regret having had 6 more babies like when he remember you can see he regrets it DEEPLY and I think that´s really sad because when the kids see this video some years from now , they´ll know how ther dad felt about having them.

That's true. I think the fertility wasn't a good idea for them. Having children isn't something you gamble with. So many at one time can cause stress and strain on even the greatest marriage. My prayers are with their family... especially the children. They play an innocent role.

@megavideogameplayer1 when you take medicine to support your fertility you can ALWAYS get pregnant with more than one child... this is not unusual... so both knew that they could get more than one new family member (so they did before).
in my eyes they were too irresponsible to have more children, but maybe this tv-show is not representative for their everyday life. If it is, i feel sorry for these kids because they have to grow up in a very superficial, unloving and confusing world.

This is what I don'r get and am so sick of hearing my grandmother had 18 kids. No reality t.v. show just some love and of course sacrafice OMG!!! Not that. Maybe the kids did not have every bell and wistle, no playhouses, or trips to Hawii or Disney but they had love and each other. I have six kids My husband works two jobs and again we sacrafice but our kids are happy. Guess what America Jon and Kate are not the first or only family to have a lot of kids!!

So basically, no one should have more than 2 or 3 children unless they have a reality TV show that exploits the kids so that their parents can afford them. My parents divorced about a month ago, having been married for 20 years. And just recently, I found out that my mom did it for me and my twin sister. Stayed with our dad that whole time...I might have been upset if they divorced when I was little, but now...not so much. Maybe it's better in the long run, maybe not...We'll all just have to see.

I definitely agree. After my grandma died, my mother became really stressed like Kate. She bickered a lot at my father unreasonably. As a young teenager, I hated the bickering because it made me feel sad. Part of me would rather they divorce so the bickering would end. Many years later, they are still married with everything worked out.
I'm sorry that J/K and your parents are divorcing. It is better to try to work things out, but if it doesn't work, a divorce could make both parties happier.

Kate's amazingly selfish, amazingly disrespectful to her husbands opinions and desires, and amazingly clueless as to how to view her husband as an equal in the marriage instead of as a sperm donor and errand boy. She's ended up with the marriage she deserves, but the kids and Jon have not. The breakdown of this marriage is typical for a person who truly doesn't listen to the other and forces her wishes each and every time.

When I see Mady's huge smile as she's "dancing" to the TV, I get tears in my eyes now. All this shit that's hit the fan with the Gosselins really saddens me. It also saddens me to think of what the twins are going through right now. Kate said on a recent interview that the girls didn't know about the problems as of late, but I don't think she gives children that age enough credit.
