Since we are accepted into the MEAC, it was pathetic your squad didn't show up , I've never seen a collegiate football game where the visiting cheerleaders didn't come!It's a shame your football team and fans didn't have it's cheerleaders to root them in such a good football game(That you lost BTW 20-19) I can understand though, y'all didn't want the WSSU cheerleaders to embarrass you!
No they use to have some real battles to where it got to one point to where they almost faught at one game. Hampton would usually get them but NSU had their moments and caught Hampton off guard. Hampton girls could always get crunk dancing, but their cheers were okay to me. CIAA cheerleaders, to me, are on a different level WSSU would eat ours (hampton) and most MEAC schools up along with VSU. But Hampton and NSU use to have some CLASSIC cheerleader battles in the 90's. Man I miss those days.

There isn't a school out here in the HBCU that can touch the status of the VSU Woo-Woos. They are unique, beautiful, classy and most of all TALENTED!!! don't get it twisted they are often imitated but NEVER duplicated and that is a KNOWN FACT!!! Last time I checked you need cheers, dances, stunts and tumbling to be MEAC CHAMPS....not cellphones! This game was a good battle between the cheerleaders and both schools are improving there programs but as far as MEAC Cheerleading is concerned NC A&T and NSU are MEAC CHAMPS!!!

The cheerleading landscape is reshaping. The Momentum and energy is moving to the MEAC. With WSSU and Central leaving and joining its only gonna get stronger.
something else I noticed, for MEAC to stunt more(much more) than CIAA, there girls are not as in shape as CIAA girls. And they kinda wear more clothes than CIAA squads do too. Just an observation lol
I think that WSSU is an entertaining squad but honestly once they finally join the MEAC, it is going to take them a few years to get to the level of skill as the other MEAC schools as far as stunting and tumbling.

If anyone was at this game you will know that this clip does not represent how the entire game was between the squads. Last time I checked you need cheers, dances, stunts and tumbling to be MEAC CHAMPS....not cellphones! This game was a good battle between the cheerleaders and both schools are improving there programs but as far as MEAC Cheerleading is concerned NC A&T and NSU are MEAC CHAMPS!!!
