I think Noud would make Lucas's best 1st true love. Jacks too old, it wouldn't work plus it's kinda gross. plus there is a bond between Noud & Lucas the writers have left the option there.
I think Weit is too shallow to seriously break anyone's heart. Noud will get temporarily hurt, angry, disappointed. His pride may be wounded. His testosterone levels may go up and down, etc. Helen of Troy had a face that launched a thousand ships. Given Weit's vacuum of a soul, for her all the boats will stay anchored where they are.
Given the shallowness of the Noud-Weit hiccup and Lucas's disconnect from any eligible, gay man, this show would be safe to show on American TV. *Sigh.*
@MsTwins91 yeah-& no one would be happier than adorable Lucas. I don't care what anyone says-he still has a crush on that boy. They did share a Christmas kiss,which was a joke in Noud's eyes-but Lucas loved it.
Also-the way he woke up to talk to him on the cellphone, looked like an anxious suitor~~poor cute/lonely baby:*(
@dreedman16 Once you grasp a really bad idea, it's hard to let go. Both guys are young & beautiful & interesting. There's just this one tiny problem, and you know perfectly well what it is. Noud is not gay, he's not bisexual, he's ... What other categories are there? Oh yes, straight! So, fantasize all you want, but it's never going to happen on the show, only in your head. The real question is: Is Lucas ever going to have a real boyfriend who is not a crypto-psychopath?

@alwaysuseless I have made no excuse for the fact that I can't stand Wiet - she is a spoilt brat who will do whatever she can to get whatever she can, even though it means hurting people! That alone makes her the complete opposite of Noud, who is trusting and looks for the good in people, even when they prove time and again that they are no good!!!
@2304sarah1 You're right. The show persists in showing Noud being too sweet for his own good (and thinking with some other organ than his brain). Someday Weit may grow up. In the meantime, we can wish that Noud were a little more worldly-wise, not cynical, and not manipulative like Weit, but smarter.
