  • @SeattleLA hannah barbera writers were definitely on lsd. haven't you ever seen scooby doo? shaggy was the first stoner on tv. by the way, lsd isn't bad if you're ready for it.

  • @sexybabes53211 Yes, you are right about those writers.

  • my name is felix and this is the first time i seen felix the cat :D

  • кот симпатичный, а сам мультик не очень интересный... ну может для детей сойдет

  • I hope DreamWorks doesn't make a Live action/CGI hybrid 3D movie based on Felix, that would rape the franchise.

  • Where's a Felix the cat clip I can find where it is silent. Those are my favorite!

  • @Ginya231 Just type in Felix the Cat 1919, 1922, 1923, 1924, 1925, 1926, 1927, or 1928.

  • is it possible to get these on dvd?

miss old shows like these :(

  • How about creating a safe way to increase the supply of iron, aluminum, and all other raw materials in order to cure and prevent unemployment, homelessness, starvation, and all other problems for all people everywhere? • THIS IS ONE WEIRD SHOW.

  • This is the shtuff I craved as a child,no wonder my parents couldn't stand us. This is some primitive shit. Brings back memories.

  • That's the original signature

  • Felix the cat is funny.

  • "Righty Oh!" Done by the same studios as Hercules (the early '60s one with Newt the Centaur) and Popeye (the TV version of the mid-50s to early '60s).

  • the giant cricket save felix the cat's life, and felix finish him.

    DONT KILL THE CRICKET!

  • @miki1900 i know right

    :(

  • Oh for the good old days of cartoons featuring smoking.

  • all that gold...

  • POP YOUR SHROOMZ AND LIGHT YOUR BLUNTS

  • how long ago is this?

  • Why did Felix kill that grasshopper? It saved his life!

  • @cyberhoodlum

He's a cat, cats kill grasshoppers!

  • An oldie....anyone remember this cartoon?

  • Jim Tyer animated this in his patented "rubbery style" of animation.

  • Motherless?

  • Felix creates/'invents' a tree/'plant' that grows gold fruit.

  • Felix sounds like mickey mouse.

  • There's an Iphone / iPod touch app out called "The Oldies cartoon edition". It features 24 cartoons including 12 Felix the cat cartoons. It turns your ipod into a dvd player. Absolutely hilarious.

  • as a child this show disturbed me ,

  • Originally shown in two parts- around the 3:30 mark, there was always a "cliffhanger" in which Felix faced some dire enemy or a certain fate; then, Jack Mercer would mysteriously intone over the end title, "What will happen to Felix...in the NEXT exciting episode, of the adventures of Felix the Cat?".

Producer Joe Oriolo used a "package" of stock music cues Winston Sharples originally wrote for Paramount's theatrical cartoons between 1952 and '59. That's why it sounds "familiar".

  • a chain smoker o the good ol days of smoking in cartoons! :)

  • LOLZ I NEVER SAW THE FELIX SERICE

  • Hahaha, In the end, Felix got the "PUNCH!!!!!" line. GET IT?

HAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAA HA HA HA HAH AAAAAA

  • Whenever he gets in a fix, he reaches into his bag of tricks...if life were that easy...

  • The voices suck! Long live 1930s!

  • O_O

  • There's a tree smoking weed in this video.

  • @jonfret87 ._.

  • @jonfret87 That tree is good at rolling blunts! HAHAHAHAHA!

  • "A gift...From the Sultan of Brooklyn!"

    hahaha

  • god i remember going to block buster and getting the movies. im naming my new cat after him =D

  • lol minimal animation

  • the goose that lays the golden egg must have been thrown overboard

  • I'm 14 and when I was little I always watched Felix! It was in the late 1990's. :)

  • you remember watching it when you were 3?

  • Felix is so clever

  • I was born in 1961,and my little brother in late 1964.These are the kind of cartoons we watched as children.Under Dog and Mighty Mouse were my brother's early heroes LoL!

  • The Professor and Rock Bottom were always trying to get felix or get rich by stealing something he had-but either they were too hasty in what they did or Felix saw ways to stop them easily.

    Rightio!Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

  • lol its still funny XD

  • This is what I remember.

    Rightyo professor. Ha, Ha, Ha

  • wow he looks my at sylvester

  • he sounds a lil like Mickey Mouse..

  • He sure does!

  • 100th rater is me!

  • HAHA chain smoker

  • I was born in '64 and didnt know of Felix till the early 70's. Vavoom was my favorite. We used to run around the neighborhood screaming "Vavoom!" all the time. I didnt know there was a 90's version until tonight.

  • The original Felix cartoons came out in the 1920's. Most of us were born in the 50's and 60's remember this version of Felix. They ran reruns of this in the arly 70's

  • They made another Felix cartoon in 1995 with a surreal Ren and Stempy styling to it.

  • Yup, that's the version I remember since I was a kid back then.

  • I caught glimpses of it as a young lad, but the most experience I had with Felix was a few comic books i managed to dig up while looking for Sonic the Hedghog and Animaniacs comics.

But my greatest animation experience with Felix was in the early-90s movie... the title of which escapes me.

  • did i just hear something that sounded like the popeye jingle ,

  • It's like right at "the end" it repeats over and over lol

  • I need one of those plants with 24k gold fruit.

  • ?~;~//~çpkyyyyyg

  • Are those bugs two "Zoraks"???

  • Isn't gold usually pure naturally? Shouldn't it be 24 kt?

  • Oh my goodness... I have not seen this since I was probably six years old.

  • yo feliz kill the bug funny

  • Does anyone have the episode when felix and rock are next door neighbors? I cant remember what it was called?

  • Felix is ultimate Win.

  • "read it stupid!"

    lol! geneous!

  • finally, ive been looking for this episode for a long time! =)

  • Im not sure which generation of Felix I love the most, its all genius.

  • i want a bag of tricks to XD

  • Chain smoker... hahahahaaa.......

  • This is a good one!

  • even if its old i love this cartoon

  • lmao at 01:06!!

  • Omg i love Felix!! havnt watched him in SOOOOOO long!

  • Nostalgia is great!!!!!!!!!

  • I love it!

  • Haven't heard that intro since I was a child. Thanks for posting!

  • Does Felix remind anyone else of Sonic the Hedgehog?

  • me .....i love felix

  • Obviusly, Sonic' style (well the old Sonic's style) was inspired by Felix's

  • I agree a 100% on dat one LOL

  • Yeah I remember reading that Sonic's design was based off of old cartoons like Felix and Mickey Mouse.

  • defiantly

  • I remember this show. I loved the theme song. Thanks for posting this.

  • ahahaha félix le chat! ^^

  • Jim Tyer is the lead animator here.

  • It does indeed look his work here, Fromthesidelines, including the end scene.

  • NO Animation of Rockbottom in his last line "Well he left us the biggest one"! And this is how it ORIGINALLY looked (cf.with the "Korean" retraced Porky Pigs.)

BTW Jack Mercer (who seems to be doing a Mel Blanc homage as Rockbottom) does all the voices..and Winston Sharples's Paramount-Famous canned music was used, plus the song he'd done for the show.Far as I know this is the only "Rockbottom" episode of the many made posted here.

  • Hence the reason why the soundtrack is identical to a Famous Studios cartoon!

  • could that really work.. I think I know how I'm going to make my fortune.. worth a shot anyways.. rite?

  • Righty OH! I love Felix! havent seen these since I was a Kid!

  • I haven't seen Rockbottom in a long time. "Hey Professor"...Note Rockbottom isn't always consisten with his address, honoring the Prof.with "Boss", since that's what Professor actually is to him. "Hey...BAWSSS!"

  • I like the color cartoons of Felix allot more then the 1's from the 30's... there more fun.

  • These animators knew how to make limited animation look GOOD!

  • WOW in the sweet name of all that is WARCRAFT BATMAN!!!!!!!!!!!! 1959 that was loger thin i even been alive.

  • Hurray for Felix!
