The Macedonians participated in the Olympic games only AFTER Philip of Macedon conquered Greece. Before Philip, the Macedonians were excluded from the Greek world.

I was talking about a time when Athens basically dominated Sparta and all of Greece. They thought of the Macedonians as northern Greek speaking barbarians. That is until Philip came and set them straight.
