@jtnix Nothing like that! This is an Israeli movie in which Ofra meets 3 bummers and they help her get money so she can make a sergery so that she can see again. After the sergery she becomes a succesful singer, and can't find her friends, because she have never seen them. One day she meets them, and in the end of the movie they go to the old house where they lived.
Ofra was religious. She would have never played in a movie that incorages polygamy.
I have this film in Hebrew and it is impossible not to fall in love with young, adorable Ofra even if this motion picture didn't win an Academy Award. It's also so nice to revisit TelAviv and Yafu thirty years ago. The view from Yafu showing TelAviv with so few high rise buildings. So cozy! Love it!
The song at the end is amazing!!! I love it, its so funny hahhha, I'm not even sure it fits the film but...well....its on Greatest Hits Vol. 2, for those who'd like to have it!
Who plays "Shoshu?" Does anyone know the name of the Israeli actor?

I don't get it... but probably because I don't speak it.
Is this some kind of reverse-polygamy slash wife-sharing propaganda flick or just fine cinema portraying coming-of-age slash wet-dream-fantasy ??
