Not my thing, I like the look of the sienna better, but I think the JDM Odyssey looks absolutely stunning. Too bad they didn't bring it here. It's probably too small by US standards to be considered a minivan.
so bucik has a concept simalar to the lines of this but if it went on sale it would would be so much better than this perice of **** sry to be so crued but i have seen the drawings
I feel that the entire van is almost a cmplete copy of, better looking, Toyota Sienna. The Honda Odyssey......Looks sharp...literally SHARP....in a bad way. It also looks to much like some sort of Rocket ship. I would never buy that van. Sienna forever!
These auto designers already conclude that future people are getting shorter, is that why the car is getting lower from the top down. Or they making for the dwarf people to buy? The designer must be a short small person. hahahaha
I think Honda has finally figured out its design language for the next generation of its vehicles and I have to say, I like it a lot! You can already see how the Insight, Skydeck concept, Accord Crosstour, this Odyssey concept (I'm sure the production version will look similar) and CR-Z all have similar design cues. I'm also sure the next generation Civic and CR-V will look similar, as will the next gen Accord (when that comes out.) I really like it.
finally!finally! Honda made something that looks good in a wile. i hope they do good with the new ridgeline truck, this van is the Nice's one out there, and i don't even like mini vans.
this honda looks nice i like it better then siena at least hondas peddels dont stick wats next on toyota problems with steering wheels this honda ill definily buy
This is a disappointment, as this would not work for a family-type workload. Looks too much like a cross-over, and I hate the lower roofline. Its a Sienna for me.
ive gotten so used to the older 2009-2010 models, it was a shocker to see this concept! i think its a design that grows on you, and i think i will eventually like it. i like it now, but i just need to get used to the look if you know what i mean! honda has always made their minivans top-notch, and i hope that the fence sitting buyers will lean towards this one
my soon to be 3 yr old 2008 Odyssey gets me 19MPG and it is a joy to ride. I had a Sienna prior to that and it is such an improvement. The handling by far is the best benefit on the Odyssey. The other amenities are also great with reasonable pricing; unlike Toyota, packaging them and nickel and dime you for every little thing you add. I really look forward to the 2011 Odyssey when my old lease ends. That one's going to be a keeper, no more leasing.
Looks like a combo of the newer Japanese Odyssey and the US one. I was thinking about getting a Sienna, but this version is making me think twice. Look forward to checking out its specs.
Hi Americans, when are you going to learn to appreciate diesel engines? These huge gas-guzzlers of yours are millions light years behind our modern diesels we have in Europe.
The Caravan has been beat since the late 90's- get with the program. Their failure to include a brake-shift interlock and crash-safe seatbelt releases sparked a downturn spiral. Currently the Caravan shares a build quality with Korean minivans.
My moms gets 17 mpg. That's ok though, because we had other minivans that actually got worse fuel economy than that. The fuel economy is fine on the one now, but if they use the same engine I don't know if it'll get that fuel economy
personally, i would never own a minivan.. if i had 4 kids i would get a land cruiser or lexus LX. if i had to choose a minivan the new toyota sienna is nice.
My 2008 Odyssey was what caused me to break with Honda. It is assembled in Alabama and, though the drive train was flawless, there were flaws elsewhere that didn't measure up to Honda quality.
New americans model actually has some class. the JDM Model is alot better but still this looks cool

I agree, and we do have diesel here- in pick-ups and Volkswagens mostly, but costs are the main concern here for some reason.

it will not get that good of fuel economy.

My 03 gets that fuel economy.. Models with VCM and a 6 speed will likely see higher then that.
