I would recommend giving F.E.A.R. a try if your looking for something relatively scary. I don't think it will make you shit your pants but it is scary enough. It's the only "Horror" genre game I've ever played where I really felt alone, this is what helps to make it scary. "Scariness" aside it is an overall good game. If you haven't, give it a try.
