  • looks like canberra? awesome video, considering it was shot with ur netbook.

  • So I'm casually watching this having randomly stumbled on to it in one of those all-too-common YouTube explorations, when all of a sudden I go "is this in Manuka!?!"

    Weird coinkydink.

    Some nice shots, though!

  • How did you record video on the EOS 40d?? I can't do that on mine. How do you go about recording on it?

  • great vid, you need to increase your buffer size in the prefs menu though, your getting some lag

  • So this was a video or is it a combination of pictures put to music?

  • @OwnedIRLK yeah this is a video.

  • the best 40D video i have seen so far...

nice work, gives a good impression for what´s possible with the 40D and a netbook...

  • very nice film and sound track as well! Very dramatic and impressiv! Congrats'!

  • that constant flickering in the brightness kinda kills it. auto aperture?

otherwise i like it it's all very... koyaanisqatsi-ish. which obviously suits philip glass.

glass has always been one of my favorite composers.

  • nice!!! makes me wanna make a video with my 40d and 50mm f/1.4 lens

  • You should have a look for Chase Lisbon's censored work studies.

  • Such a nice video! how can i do VIDEO in my 40D?

  • Hmm, it's skipping frames. That's pretty bad for video use.

  • Hey there, it's nick from deviantArt. I love the music you put into, makes it have 'the feel'. And wow, no enhancements?

  • Amazing. I'm getting a 40D in a few days, looking forward to it.

  • this is cool. great idea btw. makes me wish more that i wasn't a poorfag and had a dslr instead of a shitty slr.

what's the name of the audio track?

  • Cheers. Dont worry about just having a slr, I only bought my 40d a few months ago. Before that I had a piece of poo fuji camera.

The track is by Philip Glass - Cello Octet Conjunto Ibérico from the album glass reflections
