Get your act together Rory, Brighton gave you a chance for league football a few years back and we have done the same now, except this time if it doesent work out then back to Ireland you go for good. Sort it out
@MrSuperTevez Sorry I am a Season Ticket holder at Plymouth & he's been great playing as an Attacking Midfielder...? What the hell are you on about? He derserves to be played as a 'ST' then he'll bloody net them more often than the likes of Fallon! Being a 'sub' he doesn't derserve!
@alex2mitch Are you joking? Hes had one good match against Exeter and from then on hes been utter SHITE-hence why Peter Reid has dropped him (and it just so happens we won when we dropped him). Look at his scoring record for plymouth all together as a striker then come back and tell me what you think-i am not slating the lad at all im just saying he needs to get his act together if he wants to stay in England
@MrSuperTevez He's an Attacking Midfielder.... hmm explains his scoring record? (A ST also playing out of positions... as an Attacking Midfielder) He would have done better than Fallon for us on Saturday if he'd played... it just so happens Fallon was only played because he's a target man... I sense another berbatov? It'll take him a while to settle back into English League football... Once he does he'll be firing them in the net in no time.
@alex2mitch I dont know where your getting this attacking midfielder crap from. He is NOT an attacking midfielder. In previous matches he has played behind fallon feeding him balls but this system has not worked. He can be very effective when playing on the wings however he is partly to blame for the lack creativity up front and that real spark which we will need to stay up, something we lost hugely in BWP. Only time will tell if he will settle into english football good luck to him
@MrSuperTevez No you're right... he's a ST but if you read & understood what I've been saying every time he's been played in an Attacking Midfield role which explains his scoring record. He can play RW/RF/ST ... He's been played out of position... not once has he played as a main ST... (which is what he's used to playing in). He would work well with Mason up front in a 442 or even with Fallon as a target man... in the 4411 or 442
im a plymouth argyle supporter (english league) and i cant wait till rory patterson starts playing for argyle, he looks like an absoulutely amazing player and hes scored some amazing goals
Rory,A big thankyou for anything you did for FC UNITED, Pure class mate :) 118 starts and 99 goals :) you HAVE to come back one day and make it 100 mate.
Good luck to you in your football future .........FC LEGEND
Take it from me Tyronesean, Rory Patterson will not be going to Glentoran sunshine. And shouldn't you stick to supporting Dungannon ya peat digging half-wit.
i reckon he will go back to england or scotland instead of glens at the end of season, hes been unbeleivable for coleraine, dicked al over the irish league. glentoran is a silly move, my dads mate is a shareholder at glentoran and gets a copy of the accounts every year. Glens are £1,000,000 in debt.
Hopefully he gets on for N.I in the upcoming friendly and gets a move.
At FC we had only just begun our quest and yet discovered two of the greatest footballers I have ever seen. Both which have left for us to craft new legends, thank you Steve Torpey for THAT goal against Flixton showing me that this was football, and thank you Rory Patterson for everything, My two most remembered moments was when you were stuck in the corner flag Rory with no where to go, think you were trying to keep the ball for the final whistle, but then I blinked and it was in the net.
dont be fuckin stupid. hes done good 4 yous but hes a better class of player than coleraine. hes right 2 leave 4 a better team and a better deal. u got 2 get over it and stop being bitter man
Ok maybe my comment was a bit harsh. sean if he stays wey coleraine for the rest of the season and scores the goals to win us some trophies all will be forgiven, but if he thinks the glens are a better class i would say he,s been badly advised i would love to see him back at coleraine when things go wrong at the oval oh and denny forget we hammered the glens at the oval last season without rory.
fairplay to him, was a smashing player!
