  • This truly is a tragic display of what should be an American Historical site for all to enjoy. OK, I get it that Yoon dude bought it, but he could also sale it to. I do not understand why he holds onto it and does nothing at all with it other than put dogs in it. :( Lynnwood Hall shoudl be restored to its original glory for all to see!!!

  • So what the church just forced their way in. How does this work. It's a damn shame.

  • didnt the rev moon have property inthis area? I wonder if the moonies are involved ?

  • your videos are very good, but you need to have a script so you sound more knowlegebale. you don't need to keep your audio notes on the finished video.

  • that sounds fishy there are cars in that lot and people in that lot and cant go in there something odd there

  • @bluejay148 i cant walk into your home uninvited either. nothing odd about that

  • This building is abandoned? my god. In Spain, where I live, would be unacceptable

  • Turn it into a university.

  • I am going to own this one day.

  • An american masterpiece owned by koreans sad day.

  • Ummm, can i buy this?

  • There's a live-in groundskeeper in the adjoining house that takes care of the dogs. They seemed well-fed when I saw them.

  • I wonder what it looks like inside. Probably really spooky, considering how old the building is, how large it is and the detorioration. Imagine exploring inside there in the middle of the night. Um, creepy.

If I lived in that area, I'd hop the fence and check the place out at night. Seriously. This place sounds fascinating.

  • It was a tease. I want to see inside.

  • great video would loved to have seen inside, not often you find a place the same name as me lol kindest regards lynne wood x

  • All it takes is a little bit of money, a little more, and a little more after that... If we want to save these pre tax palaces we're going to need to start taxing those who've been getting away without the burden for the last thirty years. Otherwise, find a buyer or watch it rot.

  • i dont understand if its a church why couldnt you come in

  • I would have trespassed!

  • Very impressed! Very detailed, and thorough narratives. You would make a great journalist or documentary producer.

  • very hard to believe that a "Korean Church" owns this place -_-..

  • This property is supposidly ownewd by a Korean Church in New York I have heard. We should reach out to those guys, they could put a little money in this place and sale tours.

  • thanks for sharing. so sad that such a beautiful historical home is in this current state. I would LOVE to get in there and just explore! Stinks that the owners have no appreciation for the history it holds or the potential value to the area. ANd it is wild that this grand building and grounds sits next to a post office. It just seems to deserve so much more. thanks again for sharing.

  • The tarp on top of the car is to help keep the sun light off the rotting bodies in side. I think its a North Korean spy center.

  • does it have a library?

  • Hmm, well I live less then a block from Lynnewood Hall and I have seen no dogs or many people...I walk by it all the time and I have yet to hear or see the things u have...All I have seen is them drive in and out of the gates.

  • Why are these church people so mysterious and sinister-seeming? This must be a bogus church because a normal mainstream church would not "behave" this way. Chase them out!

  • It's really a disappointment that someone would own such a beautiful massive structure with such historical significance and just allow it to deteriorate.

When I win the megamillons I'm buying it and turning it into a hotel lol.

  • are you kidding? Can you imagine the cost of upkeep, not to mention to bring the home to standard? To make this home livable again IS the American Dream, unfortunately you have to be asleep to realize it.

  • Bill Gates could do it and build an exact copy right next door if he wanted to,instead of living in a mountain.LOL.

  • My dream home! I love the history and could fill ALL my antiques in it lol!

  • it is just amazing how lynnewood and whitemarsh look like the white house

  • Thank you so much for posting these videos. Each year I share pictures of Lynnewood Hall to 7th graders to show them the vast wealth that was represented on board the Titanic. I wish someone could get permission to tour the inside for histories sake. i understand that many of the fixtures from inside have been sold.

  • This breaks my heart......

Those inhabiting might as well be squatters.... America does not appreciate their architectural wonders...

  • @doucefrance28 Actually the mansion and grounds are owned by a Korean church and not by Americans. Options have been proposed but all have been declined by the owners...again not Americans.

  • @doucefrance28 - I cannot even tell you how much I agree with your sentiments doucefrance28! I'm even from the United States, and I love the idea of preserving old residences/homes like Lynnewood or Whitemarsh (though we know Whitemarsh is long gone, demolished) I always wonder why the U.S. is not so interested in the former Gilded Age mansion of Lynnewood Hall, and why on earth they could have destroyed Whitemarsh Hall... Yes I realise it was vandalised and in derelict position, but... alas....

  • @doucefrance28

It isn't just the states. There are many wonderful abandoned structures all over the world.

  • So loved your video.First saw this beautiful estate on the jsfmt99 video post.He posted only poodles guarded the house.I have come to really love this domain, and in my wildest dreams, wish I could walk in/or raid in with 9mm automatic....lol,I know, that's how much the current owners, who have no respect for this beautiful property,I hate.If I were Bill Gates, would be a much different story. The Church who owns it has no respect for this, and is really sad.

  • what church owns it , i hope its not the moon's , i can speak korean, would be great to get in there with a camera crew :P several friends of mine work for a korean broadcasting co from korea and in n.j its not too far from ny/nj

  • Shine light where there is darkness,i'm all for it.

  • Poodles aren't the only dogs guarding the entrance. The dog my ummmmm friend bumped into was shorter and stockier than a poodle but it was dark so he didn't get a good look as he ran.

  • LOL,I can imagine it now.

  • @t5239857289578947594 They should spend every cent they have to partially renovate this huge money pit. The church should suspend services and sell their ministry to spend all of that money on this old house. Nobody knows what their plans are for this place but you want to kill them apparently for not doing any work on it. Crazy much?

  • @turfturbo Sorry got a bit carried away there. My bad.
